Valerie....you did a awesome job on the bench and though I can't see it in person ... It looks vintage enough for me. 👍. I love these benches and did price them on Etsy a long time ago....too expensive. Every time I go out thrifting I always look to see if I can find one for a reasonable price. Enjoy your bench 😉

Wow Valerie, your projects always turn out so great. I’d have been way to scared to distress that much but your right, it’s what it calls for. I’m finally moving next month and for the 1 st time in my life I will have a garage. I’m fixing to invest in tools, I’m so excited. I’m gonna manifest my inner Valerie and get to DIYing….lol

You should try using a draw knife to create your rounded edges. It's easy and gives a great authentic look.

I just love these benches that you make. And they can be customized to fit any space. Just a quick question: is the 17 3/4 measurement of the legs at the bottom of the angle cut or at the top?
