Made a bracelet using your tutorial :D Aimed for a necklace, but didn't have enough thread at the time ^^; Also, I figured out that with some maneuvering and patience, you can use a straightening iron to melt the ends together, and it doesn't leave a noticeable burn mark like a real flame :) Thank you for helping fulfill my wish of having one again :D

I remember wearing wearing these choker necklaces back in the 90's when I was kid. Loved them.

I just want this mix in my life
does anyone know where you can get the rainbow colored cord? you know, the cord that has a bunch of different colors that fade into each other. I've done tons of research and can't find anything but tacky fabric cord. I want the plastic stuff like this. does anyone know where to get it?

I was thinking of buying the clear stuff and like dying it with fabric dye to stain it. I really just wanna get that rainbow cord though :(

I took clear stretchy string and cut a long piece off the roll, then painted it with nail polish. With one coat, it seemed to work pretty well...

THE MUSIC TO THIS VIDEO IS AWESOME. Made me miss my childhood!! and want to watch the spice girls movie LOL! loved this vid :)
I used to wear these chokers all the time. This tutorial is great and the 90's music playing all the way through just made it so much better :) Thank you :)
PLEASE HELP I have a tattoo choker necklace that I got from brand melville and I have never worn this type of choker necklace before and I am clueless on how to unclasp it if it can unclasp; basically how to get it on. How do you put the tattoo choker necklace on?

I got a lot of compliments wearing this! thanks so much ☺💖💖
Love this!! Was looking for places to buy this, but making it yourself is probably cheaper and more fun :). Also loving the 90's music ahha.
i was scared how you held the lighter really close to your fingers xD
Holy mother of god I was looking for those necklaces for like ages! Didn't even know how to google it since I didn't know the name of it - I'm not an American, nor an English native speaker, I'm actually from Israel and those necklaces were a big hit when I was in Elementary school, I think it was in middle school too, I was born on '92 so my teen years were on the beginning of the 2000. Anyways, I think we didn't have a name for that necklace. So now I really wanna make one for myself. Gosh lately it seems that the 90s are back, and it feels so good! :))
its hard to put on after u done ;;/
I made this and when I got to the sticking part where u use the fire I got so scared I was gonna burn my finger and I couldn't stop shaking for like an hour straight😂

If there's a next time, you can tie a knot and use pliers to hold the cord instead of just your fingers.

I grew up wearing the black ones, I had clear once with beads on it with the knots. I can't wait to buy some string. Paige Noelle what was that background in the very beginning with the 90's holographic look?
omg yes girl!!! the music for this video is everything!
For those asking where to get the stretchy cord, you can get it at joann fabrics or hobby shops, and if they don't have it you can get it online at www.etsy.com/listing/256862183/
I bought mine in 2007 when I was 7 years-old and now it's stretched out. Does anybody know how to get it back to the normal size?

You can put them in a compact area like a small jar or tiny closed box, leave it in there for a few weeks and it should get smaller. But that may depend on what it's made out of. Hope that helped!
THIS IS FABULOUS YOUR DIYS ARE PERFECT
Omg I miss the 90s I love your music brought back great memories
Your eyebrows are so perfect omg.
The memories haha I had one in every color, ten times over. The chokers, bracelets, anklets, rings. If I knew how to make them I would of saved so much lol.
Am I the only one noticing most of the music is from early 2000's, not the 90's....

i have always loved these chokers! lately i have been looking for them and i haven't found them yet, so thank you so much!
This is how mine was made, it doesn't on my neck completely but my moms said that I should have mines loose because if they were tight, it will feel like its actually a "Choker"
chokers are so rad! loved this DIY
I'm SO making this tomorrow!! Btw love how most of ur songs are Britney lol she's my inspiration xD

You kept saying over but didn't you mean under? Because you have to put the strand under the other for it to create a loop

hermoso video 💖 gracias por tan simple tutorial
Cool! I've been seeing people with these and I wasn't sure whether it was some fancy tattoo or an actual choker?!! Now I have my answer and I could easily make one, thank you! 😍💕
Do you think 0.8mm will be good too? I see everyone using 1.0mm but I can't even get it in my own country so I have to order it online and I finally found something affordable (with shipping) but it's 0.8...
I recently bought one and the ends broke. Do I melt it again?
I cannot find this string online at all for the life of me I keep looking and it's like it doesn't exist anymore
I like how these were a 90's thing and they're like REALLY popular NOW.
@effysnicket9132

Cause they started off really popular in the 90s, 90s things are starting to become popular recently
LOL, no way, these are in style again? I had one of these probably back when some people watching this were probably babies, or not even born yet, lol!
i cant find a stretchy cord here in Australia and i dont wanna buy online :( help :(
Thank you! This helped us not have to buy them- I will use this many more times!
I could spend the materials in Spanish? pleasee! Me podrian pasar los materiales en español? porfavoor¡
New favorite KZreadr omg
So your saying yarn/string won't work bc that's all I have..
I've watched other videos for this diy but they confused me :/ yours was a different way and much simpler! Just made a chocker! I like never comment on videos, rarely! Just wanted to say thank you 3
My mom had a lot of those bands in the 90's ... and they are all black:D
*If you don't have a binder clip then use tape. but a binder clip is waaay better.
I have a question do u put the chocker over your head
I make power cord brackets,so the melting at the end was easy
this looks so difficult, but i love chokers and you so its way better where did you get the string?
The video is really helpful, thank you for it! My quetion, however, is how the hell do you put it on? Sqeeze it over through your head? I have no idea...
SWAGGIE. OMG IM SO EXCITED TO TRY THIS THANK YOU SO SO MUCH
I remember when I used to wear those! lol
Hello!! I love your videos! They are really amazing! I wan't to ask something.Where did you find these Strech Magic? Thanks
Great music choice!
I just realized that I have a huge head
I miss the good old days when I would wear these!
I really love this! it's the best and only one I've found for making these but I don't know how to do the twist knot things? for me you didn't clarify enough but that's just me bc I need things to be in depth lol
This is the best video on KZread
You can get them from claires for $8 but its more cheaper to diy I want to buy one and make one bc they only come in black
Awsome you just got a new subbie thanks for the idea and the nostalgia!
Great DIY! I'm going to try it today. 😊 By the way, could you tell me what songs did you use?
Omgg I love this remix that has come on over,😍💕 does anyone know the name of the remix ?☺️
How thick are your stretch cords? I can only find 0.8mm... Thanks for the video by the way!!! :)
OBSESSED WITH THESE THANK YOU
i bought one online and after wearing it twice the chain part broke :/ gonna try this and hopefully it will work out!
