wow man, i watch a lot of youtube, and i know what to expect for these sorts of videos with regards to quality, camera angles, pacing of the content, etc - but bro - this video is seriously so high-quality it blew way past any expectations. Love the wood floor, love the hardlines, love the whole set-up, you absolutely nailed it. Much love from the UK!

Thank you!
I suggest putting some weather stripping on the tank cutout for a little cleaner/seamless look 👍

I've actually had some since last year... Lol! I just need to fix a few things in the setup but once they are done I'll for sure do it! Thanks for the comment
Do you highly recommend a second compressor? Can't decide. Cheers mate it looks great.

You are fine with a single compressor. I personally decided to get a second since I daily the car during the summer. It's a back up incase 1 ever dies. Also the fill up speed is a lot faster so you don't hear those noisy compressors for so long. If you have a bit of spending money I'd recommend it. I bought a 2 pack from ebay and my friend and I split the cost to save money. Hope this helps!

Awesome, no problem!
With the lines being mounted to the hard wood how are you suppose to get to the spare tire/compressor without taking it all apart? I was thinking about doing something like this but possibly making a hinged door to open to get to it but idk if it would look as clean.

Simple. The connections are push connections. I just have to drain the tank, push the connectors and I can remove the hardlines. I actually had to do this once and it worked flawlessly. I even keep a set up jumper cables back there just in case I ever need them. Good luck with your install!

@@zach_lush im getting ready to start on my trunk install, i had another question with the compressors being mounted under the floor how would they get air flow? Wouldn’t it cause to overheat and prematurely wear out?

I just purchased some 3/8 stainless steel hard lines from Amazon. You can also get the coiled stuff, but you need a special tool to straighten it out!
What grit of sandpaper did you use after cutting the hardline?
@zach_lush
2 жыл бұрын
I can't remember exactly but I think it was a 220 grit.
Where did you buy the aluminum lines and measurements friend
@zach_lush
2 жыл бұрын
The aluminum lines I purchased from amazon. The measurements are based off of your setup. Everyone is different, you'll have to figure that out yourself.
Keeping the spare tire is a good idea. You just never know. 99.9% of people with air suspension get rid of their spare to put the compressors. I was lucky enough to be able to keep my spare and have both compressors under there as well.
@zach_lush
3 жыл бұрын
Yeah, a lot of my friends told me to ditch it but keeping my spare was one of my goals with the install. I thought I came up with a good way of keeping everything incase I ever get a flat. Thanks for watching!

Because most ppl with air suspension are pushing it as far as they can from stock specs especially now a days with camber. My setup for example if I tried to even run my stock wheels or the spare tire it’s 100% gonna rub & pop my bag because the wheel specs are so weak.. you got some learning to do bud
@zach_lush
3 жыл бұрын
@@Hold.My.Tacoss Not sure if possible but if you were in a pickle and needed to run your spare. Could you not flip it around and that would give it a negative offset to push it away from the bags? Just food for thought.
Where did you get the fittings from ?

Do you still have the web link for the Air Suspension?
@zach_lush
3 жыл бұрын
So you can't buy directly from airlift, but on their website they show dealers local to you that can get it. Or you can just ask different shops in your area and see if they can get you the kit. I actually asked in a car group on FB for the best place to get the management and they recommended me a seller local to me.

But taken up all space
@zach_lush
3 жыл бұрын
Not really, there is still a good amount of space there. I've seen trunk setups that take up the entire trunk, my goal was to keep it usable still. I have yet to not be able to fit something in my car!
You need swagelok fittings for hardlines. Those push to connect fittings are worthless.
@zach_lush
3 жыл бұрын
New fittings have already been ordered. The fitting I have I got for free from work and are garbage, it was used for testing the setup.
