I love this. One change, for the inside board I would cover it with paint, contact paper, or cloth. So when you open, you don’t see a plain piece of ply board!!!

I found my 1940's army trunk at my local habitat for humanity store. $10. I just added some locking industrial wheels to put on the bottom.

Could you create a table using 3 hatboxes (sm, med,large) sitting wooky like an Alice in wonderland table, along with crazy legs, tassels, trims and lots of colors. I tried but can't figure out what to use to make boxes stable.
