Dude, you are a genius!!!!!! Brilliant!! I was looking for some ideas to make the Samsung hub monitoring the LEDs of my washing machine. But this is a simpler a awesome approach... excellent!!
Can't believe I just found you, love the content keep it up!
Dude. Smart. I like your out of the box thinking!
Great video, don't stop making content!
Excellent video! Subscribed and look forward to more! Ordered the smart things hub and two multipurpose sensors last night. Disappointed to hear the vibration doesn't work reliably. Will see if I can rig something like you have
We need a video for the best Black Friday Deals Majestechs! Cmon bruv!
Magnets on the dial and a pickup, that's a fantastic idea for a cheap solution!
Incredible, I'll try it! Muchas gracias! :)
Thank you for this one
Really dope video man! Deserve way more recognition my man
Wow that's a great idea
Sick video
I have the same washer!!! Thanks
I saw beer fridge i love it! Why would that need turned off tho ever 😝 Wow!!! This video blows my mind! I was thinking of getting one that connects to wires for dryer, but this is genius, if the top of my dryer stayed cleared off haha magnets would come off quick.
Very clever!
This is so awesome, Have you figured out how to do this with an oven?
Can you please do a review of the brilliant light switch/ panel
I was going to use the dumb relay switch and magnet too. I was hoping someone had a better idea 😂 Great minds think alike I guess. If I can find(or make) the right sensor perhaps I can use the LEDs as an indicator.
Umm I just have a question to ask you Majestechs. I saw your other videos on home projectors and you seem pretty knowledgeable, so I wanted to ask you a question. So if I were to take a normal 2D movie and put it into a 3D projector, would I be able to see the movie in 3d or could I only use movies that are already in 3d format to watch them in 3D?
Great video, do you need a phone holder or car charger?
I overthought this and I'm currently timing my wash and dry, Time is going to stick a note on the machines on how long it lasts at which settings 😅 Either way, I might just figure out how to connect a smart sensor to the buzzer. Imo that's might be the best Awesome work 👍 Edit; damn.. now I'm thinking a relay connected to the buzzer can close the circuit on a Wyze contact sensor I have laying around. Just have to check the voltage when the buzzer goes off to find it an appropriate relay 😁
Il pass on smart washer/ dryer, I still have to take my lazy A$% down there to remove the clothes anyways... now if alexa/ google can load and unload the machine. Now we're talking

Checkout Foldimate but it could be a $980 BS gimmick.
The best way to automate your dryer is to use a air pressure switch hook up to your dryer vent with a shelly1 hook up to the switch
Is there a 220, 240, 250 volt smart plug? For a dryer.
Does this dryer make buzzer
Do you use Home Assistant now?
Ok Chris, now we're writing codes, creating virtual switches.. lol..I actually had to do similar tasks to ... say open my garage instead or turn on... and for saying alexa start my car

I need to figure out how to get Alexa and Viper Smartstart to talk so I can start my car too
I want to know what automation you have setup for your Beer Fridge!!!
what is the device used in 1:32 ?
Why you not showing the buzzer goes off this dryer
just looked at ordering the Smartthings plug. Noticed it said nothing about energy monitoring. Called Samsung to confirm. They said nope its a switch only. I found a couple others that might work. Am I missing something? Thank you for the videos.

It definitely does energy monitoring
I installed Windows 10 on my washing machine, all worked fine until I done the last update. Now all my washing comes out blue.
This is really good, but to be more on budget I would like to do it using a Broadlink hub and Sonoff. Any idea how to setup on the app? (Btw, which app would I want to use?) Thanks!
can someone help me find a light sensor as suggested in 1:52 pls

I used these... HomeSeer HS-FS100-L Z-Wave Indicator Light Sensors. Works awesome with SmartThings, WebCore, and Alexa Speaks.... I announce throughout the whole house when washer and dryer cycles are complete.... Get 5% off with this referral link...prz.io/40626KTP... 6 months late but hope this helps...

Put a wyze sense on my dryer, no more wrinkled clothes. Nice
The hub is $549...or am I looking at the wrong thing?
all i do is say “Alexa set timer for 40min” and that reminds me that my dryer is done! or “alexa set timer for 1hr 15min” and that’s for the laundry! the last one is “damn!! i hate to fold!”
You could of also put a camera in your laundry room and called it a day.
I believe you should give the credit to this guy kzread.info/dash/bejne/gpiJtMFxda3VctY.html
umm wait a sec can't you just set a timer?
Waist of time, the washer and dryer will buzz when they are done, don't need this

Then why watch the video? It's obviously not a necessity, but for someone into diy tech, it's cool to see his creativity and get ideas of how to make tech work for you...

Lots of people want to do this and would like to share how or learn how. No one needs most of home automation. It's just something we like to do and like to have.

I'm pretty sure you meant "waste of time". I think people should be free to discuss various things. If it's not for you why comment on it?
