I only use this method for making small base or flat medium bases. It will last, ensure to iron it & wire the edge

Personally I don't, because I found out it leaves alot of ruffles at the edge.

I used the rubber transparent wire, some sellers call it cord. But you can make use of the flexible millinery wire too
