Thanks for your valuable project. I have rebuilt the circuit but it would not go with the BC945 maybe because ive damaged it with heat from soldering . I replaced the BC945 with a BC547 transistor and it worked with constant loud buzzer. The coil was sensitive at 40 cm but the buzzer sound variation is difficult to discern. I can tell the buzzer shows some variability but it needs a careful ear to distinguish. I dont know if anything can be added to make the sound variability easier to distinguish. Note the circuit is exactly the same to yours but i used an NPN BC 547 transistor instead of the bc945 transistor with 0.4 mm copper wire 52 turns and volts battery . I tried adding B10k potentiometer to control the buzzer volume, but it was not very helpful. Any advice? Many thanks to your useful videos.

Hi brother Lower the voltage until noise reduction. Mine worked in 6 - 7 volt. And your coil is ok, I hope it works for you.
