In this project, I will show you how to create a simple circuit that can interrupt the current flow to a load when the adjusted current limit is reached. That means the circuit can act as an overcurrent or short circuit protection. Let's get started
Components required:-
1 x relay ( Relay voltage as per your Battery )
2 x led
1 x 1K resistor
1 x push button switch

One crucial fact is neglected in the project. The circuit will work to power the device with a consumption of approx. mA. With higher current consumption, the button will be destroyed. This means that when the button is pressed the current drawn by the connected device passes through it, which results in the destruction of the button. Using the button for larger currents does not make sense, as it is expensive and large. The solution is simple. Instead coilof splice and the switching contact, a diode is connected to the relay coil (1N400x is enough), the anode to the coil. Then, when pressed, only the relay coil current flows through the button.
