Easy, cheap DIY RC winch controller using Tower Pro MG995 continuous servo.
Pretty sure steering servos won't work for this only continuous servos 360 degree, I use Tower Pro MG995's, others probably do the same but this worked the first time for me.

Great tip! I imagine that servo board could be used for any number of motorized accessories. Cheers!

I haven't thought about it but yeah you're right, could be useful in other applications.
