Im feeling dangerous today. Might finally clean my engine bay

I've always been amazed over the years, people that clean their cars religiously but never even touch the engine compartment. Most everything inside modern engines, electrical plugs, boots, etc. are all water tight with seals. There really isn't anything you're going to harm with some water and degreaser on an engine.

Only thing I would recommend is wrap the alternator up with a plastic bag engine not hot of course other than that as always great videos

Fun stuff - engine bays are always tough. I think that’s the right approach - get in and out. It’s an engine, so can’t get caught up for hours and hours all in there with a tooth brush and bending your arm around the catch can and engine block all double jointed like 🤣

Hey its LOUIE!! My boy always straight to the point! kept it simple sprayed degreaser brushed the main areas rinsed and got out. LOOKED super clean! Scat looking soo sharp after the wash!! I know youll miss it after you get the Z!!

I feel your pain with cleaning the engine bay. It's a weekly chore for me, especially with adding chrome.

it would look even harder with even just takin a few more mins to protect the black trim in the engine bay with a spray let it dry and itll look glossy and on point good video tho got the job done 💯🔥👍🏽

I’d recommend some boar hair brushes, probably a bit softer to make sure nothing gets scratched

i clean it once i see it already starting to accumulate dust and dirt try to maintain it i don’t want it being a hassle when its to dirty then ill take longer then i need to like you say 🔥💯👍🏽

I have a true legmaker intake on mine and the air filter isn’t protected due to it being on the bottom air vent! I want to pressure wash mine but I’m afraid!? Any recommendations??

put a plastic bag over it and if u want put a microfiber towel then plastic bag it for extra caution.

I do the same thing..lol..I literally baby my 392 scat..this is my 3rd one(2015, 2016, and now 2018)...im selling it soon..too many young goof balls are ruining the mopar heritage and I dont want to be associated with the nonsense...especially in NY.
