i feel like i needed a reminder that my patches and diys do not have to look neat and perfect all the time (in fact it's more punk if they don't), cuz i tend to get super perfectionistic and then don't feel confident to go out wearing some of the shit i diy. and im sure this is pretty common among people who like to diy their clothes, which is fucking sad when you consider the amount of hard work and effort that goes into making that stuff

exactly!! i love how messy punk is, it's very freeing when you let yourself fall into it

theres something so calming about watching your DIY videos and adding patches to my new crust pants.

The distillers are definitely one of my favourite punk rock bands. Dalle's voice is wonderful

You should do a video about lace code to help punks that are new to the sense (like me) to stay safe.

Lace code is mostly dead and even if you’re in an area that still uses it, colors often have different regional meanings like red could mean communist, anarchist or n@zi if you’re worried about it just don’t ladder lace your shoes and you’ll be fine

Hey since you really like The Distillers, I recommend The Interrupters. They're a lighter ska punk band, but they have a somewhat similar vibe. My favorite songs from them are She Got Arrested and Babylon if you wanna give them a listen.

About a month ago I had just finished sowing on all of the patches to a pair of pants and I was so excited to wear them on stage, turns out wearing pants for a 2 hour set gets really hot, so the second I got home I cut the bottom half off of them

The breakfast club looks so cool on there

I hate sewing (it takes too much time) and a way to eliminate some work around the patch is to burn the edges! Carefully to not burn your fingers and on the fresh air to not choke on the smell in your room. All that is left afterwards it so sew it on your piece of cloth. It looks fucking badass!!!
