Netjes! Ziet er heel profesioneel uit. En met alles rekening gehouden op het eerste zicht. Zoals de pomp om het water rondom het zwembad weg te trekken en het mangat met de pomp naast het zwembad is ook mooi opgelost.

Ziet er gaaf uit. Ik zit er ook over na te denken om dit te doen met een 9 bij 4 bad ongeveer. Waarom heb je uiteindelijk voor een opzet bad gekozen ipv een bouwkundig bad? Ik zit zelf erg tussen die 2 te twijfelen aangezien je het gat en de betonnen plaat dan al gereed heb. Maken de matten het bad warmgenoeg?

Voor mij was de investering even doorslaggevend, ik kreeg geen bad of systeem gevonden binnen mijn budget in die tijd (was ook mijn huis nog aan het verbouwen). Dus dan maar een Intex bad. Maar inderdaad, het idee is dat ik altijd nog een bad van blokken of een pre-fab bad op de de betonnen plaat kan zetten later. Het gat en plaat is best een eindje groter dan het Intex bad dus ruimte voor uitbreiding is er. Mocht de vlonder slecht worden of er ineens budget beschikbaar komt ga ik dat zeker doen. De matten doen het prima, zeker met deze temperaturen. Wel zorgen dat je 's nachts de pomp niet laat lopen want dan gaan ze juist weer koelen...

2 questions? How would you replace the liner if any leaks? Is that wood safe for the dirt ? No risk of collaps?

if the liner breaks I can simply replace it by breaking down the pool structure and rebuilding it. If the water drains from the pool the aluminium structure will fall inwards allowing me acces to the liner. The wood structure is supported by the Azobe hardwood posts. Those are screwed directly on the ground poles and bolted on to the garage next to the pool. Those Azobe poles are not going anywhere. The wooden boards are sufficient for now, they are strong and will last for about 10 years until they start to wear off. In ten years time I will decide to replace them by something different, or make up my mind about the pool itself. By that time the kids will have different interests other than swimming....

How much are the solar panels increasing the temps? I have a similar setup but have not connected the panels yet as I don’t know if it’s worth it? Thanks

It definitely adds a few degrees when the sun is full on the panels. You can feel the hot water passing through the outlet in the full sun, but off course it needs to run a couple of hours to heat up the whole pool. In this setup the panels are in the sun in the morning, so I let the pump run for a couple of hours, and shut down when the panels are in the shade. Works well that way. Just don't run the panels in the night, because it will cool the pool down, they will then act as a radiator

Yes, the external dimensions are roughly 5 by 7,5. You need the space to set up the pool

no spaceing between floor woods ? (istn recomended 6-8mm space ?, no problem after one year ? please let me know, thinking about the same pool and wood.

Yes, when installed there was no spacing indeed. I installed the planks in the summer and drilled the screw relatively wide so the planks can move lateral very slightly. In the winter the gaps between the planks are roughly 5mm and during summer the planks are tight again. There are in for 2 years now and so far I do not have any issues…

Prachtig wat je gemaakt hebt. Van welk hout heb je de vlonder gemaakt? Verweert het hout niet snel? Het water wat "in de put" komt verwijder je dmv een pompje zie ik. Moet je hem caak aanzetten of hoe controleer je dat? Ik wil ook zo iets maken, maar dan op tegels en met gedeeltelijke natuurlijke afwatering. Heb je "achteraf dingen van "dat had ik anders moeten doen"?

Dank je, dit is "gewoon" vlonder hout (geimpregneerd tuinhout, maar dan met de groef naar beneden gemonteerd). Misschien niet het beste hout, maar het paste goed in mijn budget indertijd omdat ik er redelijk goedkoop aan kon komen via Gardero. De pomp wordt aangestuurd door een sensor. De pomp staat iets verlaagd ten opzichte van de bak waardoor het water daar als eerste opvult. In de verlaagde bak hangt de "voeler" van de sensor (zoals getoond in de video overigens) en die stuurt een controller aan die de pomp aan stuurt. Er simpel en werkt feilloos, de bak is altijd droog, ook na het natte afgelopen jaar. Ik zou nu niet zo heel veel anders doen eerlijk gezegd, misschien iets meer ruimte tussen het bad en bak-wand, want het is nu wel krap als je achterin moet zijn om een waterspuwer dicht te zetten. Had ik meer budget gehad dan had ik de vlonder van hardhout gemaakt, maar dat is een kosten afweging. Verder heb ik er nu (achteraf, zie andere filmpje) een skimmer in zitten en dat vind ik echt een goede toevoeging, maar nu mis ik wel een aansluiting voor een onder-de-waterspiegel zuiger waar je bijvoorbeel ook een handsofzuiger aan kunt sluiten. Mooiste is als je beide hebt, dus dat ga ik komend voorjaar nog maken. Veel succes, gewoon doen want het is echt de moeite waard!

Dank voor je snelle reactie. Heb weer wat nuttige info verkregen door dit filmpje. Ga er ook mee beginnen, maar ben de laatste info nog aan het vergaren 😊. Ga hem gedeeltelijk in de grond zetten. Het hout behandel je niet?

Nog niet, het vlonderhout raakt de grond niet. De palen die de grond wel raken zijn wel behandeld. Mocht het hout heel erg verkleuren dan beits of schilder ik het alsnog. Maar ik vermoed dat tegen die tijd de kinderen zo groot zijn dat ik er een vijver van maak :-)

I realise they are not in the cost overview, I actually had them lying around. We bought them when we got a puppy to cover the indoor titles so she wouldn't slip. We bought them cheap in a local bargain store (called Action in the Netherlands). Not sure what we paid for them to be honest. But these aren't quality tiles, very thin and just to prevent the bottom cover from dragging on the concrete floor...

Ziet er cool uit, maar waarom gebruik je hier nog een intex pool? Volgens mij was je met gasbetonblokken of zo en een watervastelaag ook klaar geweest en dan had je een degelijkere constructie. Of was dat allemaal veel duurder geworden?

Ja, qua kosten kom je dan een stuk hoger uit. De constructie komt best specifiek omdat je zoveel water moet dragen. De liner of andere watervaste oplossing is ook niet goedkoop. Maar het idee is dat ik dat altijd nog kan doen als de Intex zijn beste tijd gehad heeft. Voor nu zat ik ook met een verbouwing en een hele hoop klussen rond het huis, dus het was ook de snelle oplossing :-)

Yes, quite significantly. Hence the fixed pump to keep things dry. I am monitoring the electricity usage of the rainwater pump, and this season it had to work quite hard to keep it dry (lot of rain in the Netherlands this year...)

How many five years does it last?

not sure yet, it now the thitrd year and everything is looking good still. I expect the pool to last around 5 years and the decking around 10- 12 years

I am quite nervous about my pool setup, i have much less room around the pool in ground then you, will see
