DIY Picture Frames
Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль
Come along with me and check out these custom picture frames that my long time best friend Yancy and I are making. This is a DIY style video and I will do my best to show you as many steps as possible so you can get a good idea of how to make yours. These are for a couple of artwork pieces that I received from my friend Gen that lives all the way in the Philippines. Yancy and I will use aromatic cedar and pine to make the body of these picture frames and the splines will be maple and walnut. I'd sure love for this video to make it around so that my friend Gen can get some exposure. She is super talented. Please ask me any questions that you may have about this build. I'll get back with you as quickly as I can.

You get better on every project, like the chair and wagging tail at the end.

@Troy Smith I couldn’t have said it better myself, my friend!
Great video. Just curious do you put a tiny bit of bevel on your cuts to help them fit tighter?

@Justin Dickinson Thanks for your compliment Justin. This is a really terrific question! We didn’t bevel the miter cuts because we were seemingly close enough to 45°. I know your trick works well for framing doors up though. Talk to you soon my friend.
These frames are too Rad..drawings also rock

@Loop Doc These we’re the first frames I’ve ever made. This was definitely a learning experience and I’m amazingly blessed to know my friend Gen from the Philippines who made the drawings for me. On to the next video, see you soon!
