Love the video my pencil case turned out really cute! I did wanted to say that a 30cm zipper is too short, the one I used was 35cm. I don't know if that is a difference in zipper types or that some manufacturers only measure the teeth and some also measure the fabric length but just so anyone else knows to check for that!

You can start with her beginner projects and build your confidence. Start with a non zipper item . Some of her tote bags have no zippers, no hardware. Go for it....you will experience the joy of making something . So...I gotta ask ... you watch her tutorials just for fun? Something brought you to her channel. A journey of 100,000 steps starts with the first step. I hope to spend hours learning from her; she is exceptionally creative and creates very clear videos with inspirational contents. Come join us ! I've just finished it! The pencil case is great ! Only problem was one side for the stitching over the outside fabric. I couldn't go all the way. I suppose you're supposed to do it by hand? Anyway thank you

You have to move the zipper pull past the presser foot and then can continue stitching. It is a bit challenging with all the fabric around and the zipper closed in that section so go slowly. I do wish the video showed this in more detail

@@annanabity152 yes I tried but I couldn't at the end. It was too narrow. But I did another one and this time I used a 40 cm zip and it was so much easier ! I had room for stitching. So I recommand this method 😊

Hi. At what stage did you use the mid-weight interfacing? I only saw the fusible fleece introduced at the beginning of the video. And did you make the bias tape yourself? Because it has the same pattern and color as the lining fabric.
