DIY PC Case - Built with a CNC

Ғылым және технология

Build your own DIY small form factor (SFF) computer case for your Mini ITX PC! The frame is a combination of wood, acrylic glass, and aluminum. It includes two case fans and provides room for a full size 2.5 slot graphics card and an SFX power supply.
The case was built with my DIY CNC machine. The cutting parameters used to machine the aluminum, acrylic, and wood are shown in the video.

I stumbled across this video searching for design ideas to 3D print an SFF case for a future project, when I downsize my first PC build. This is beautiful and you have elevated it to an art form. Kudos to you and like so many others, I encourage you to take your ideas/designs to manufacturers. There is a strong market out there for functional SFF cases that do not break the bank!

This is the most utilitarian and gorgeous case I've ever seen. You fixed airflow issues, kept structural integrity, didn't forget about people who still have data to store and kept it minimalist. I love it. I don't have a CNC machine, but I would buy this in a heartbeat.

I really comment very rarely on KZread, but that is a piece of art! I designed and built a lasercut wooden ITX case myself ("REAL CUBE") and have plans for the next one already so I really had flashbacks watching this. The most interesting part for me was the selfmade plywood, I wouldn't have thought it'd be so straight forward to work with that. Also great job on your DIY CNC, I loved the clean layout and cable management!

I’ll be looking forward to getting these plans. However, I’d first like to get the upcoming plans on your CNC build. Will keep checking in.
