Great fabric choice. The flowers are so bold and fun. Even the wrong side is super cool, like a watercolor painting.

do you have any patterns or blueprints that I could print to copy this? thanks! xoxo
That type of fabric is called jacquard (it oftens get compared to brocade) and yes it frays like crazy. You did an amazing job. The dress looks great.
I feel like I watch alot of videos of seamstresses and think "wow it's so easy and they don't make mistakes" and seeing you do this video reminds me even the best mess up or have struggles. And that for me helps. Especially in a world that is so insta-perfect. Thank you Wendy. You've been an inspiration for years now :) ❤❤
Oh god the thing you had with the bobbin running out happens to me all the time and I absolutely hate it so now I'm trying to make it a habit to check the stiches once in a while to make sure that I'm actually sewing with the thread

Add me to that list as well! I'm also guilty to winding more thread than I need, but I can't waste the thread... I just ended up purchasing a dozen new bobbins for when that happens. 😏

I HATE when that happens, when it does i just have to put the project down and wait a little before I continue lol

Yes I am so prone to this issue when I'm in a rush! The reminder to check always comes at such an unwelcome time hahaha
Looking super glam. I'm so impressed by your ability to look at a dress and figure out how you are going to make it. Hope you have a very merry Christmas and some time to chill post Christmas- having worked for a church previously I am well aware that Christmas is all hands on deck.

With Ariana's dress I was stuck in a odd place of do I love or hate this? I still don't know. But I think it was the fabric that threw me off. Your dress is amazing!! 🖤🖤

1VampieNight I hate it! Mostly because it looks like she took her baby cousins christening outfit. It’s too short!

Ugh this is S T U N N I N G. That fabric is so beautiful to start with, and even with the time constraints you absolutely knocked it out of the park! Happy holidays :)
That fabric is just... gorgeous.... I have no words
Thank you for making this tutorial! I've been in love with this dress style since I first saw it on Ariana and really wanted to make it myself!!!
Wennnndy!! Omg I’m in love with final look!
I love how to dress is coming out the way you want them to be! I hope there is more instruction of how you make the bottom part puffy in that way, like how you attach them together because the fullness of the skirt is beautiful!
this video is honestly super relaxing i love it so much!! love your videos and the dress was beautiful!!

This was the most relaxing and soothing video even through the stress. Your nails were fab too! Have to get myself one of those mini irons

Watching this after yesterdays video is crazy… it’s amazing how far you’ve come :)
Very qute!!! I too have experienced the dry hands and snagging. But mostly on fabric made from non-natural materials.

I love the back side of the fabric so pretty.
I saw some fabric like this at my local store. I thought it'd make a very pretty New Year's dress. I haven't seem one of your videos in a long time. You're still brilliant!
I love the flowers 😍😍😍 and the dress
I love the dress and her work space ❤️😍👍🏻
Really pretty!
What a beautiful fabric ❤️ You did a really great job
I love this video so much! I get your full tutorial and a bit of your personality, eeeee😆
Thank you wendy for sharing your videos! I wanted to sow different types/styles of tote bags from thrifted stuff but arent sure what to do.
WENDY yours looks even better than the inspo! also, where'd you get the iron/mat at 5:40? that set up seems so convenient omg

I had the same thought! I found it on Amazon based on what it looks like. The ironing mat seems to be in the "Frequently purchased together" section. www.amazon.com/Small-Mini-Iron-Non-Stick-Extra-Long/dp/B01AK9ZUGO If the link doesn't work, it's the "Small Mini Iron" by Ivation.

Really loved this video. This one showed how to "dupe" clothing you admire from afar...via Google images. Thanks for showing us how. And your hubby looks so proud of being your arm candy!!! Looks like a fun holiday party. Have a great safe winter holidays and exciting NYE! Cant wait to see what you have planned for 2019!!!!
Gorgeous fabric!!
Wow, it's so snazzy!
I saw this dress in your last vid, and totally thought of Ariana! I love this dress and I am so happy you’ve made it!!!
totally doing it!!!!
You are a freaking superhero Wendy, I could've never!
Love it!!!
You pull this dress off so well!
That fabric is incredible! Must’ve been hard to work with but oh so worth it! Running out of bobbin thread...how many times have I done THAT! I usually wind several bobbins and have them at the ready so st least I don’t have to stop and wind more in the middle of a seam. You looked so pretty! Congrats on a job well done Wendy!
You are the absolute cutest. I can’t believe I haven’t seen your channel till now.
Wooow 😍😍 it looked so nice on you😍😍
Great job! The fabric was a perfect choice👍
I LOVE this. I especially love that you include the "guys look I just made this huge mistake, now to fix it" part (rather than just fixing it and not mentioning it) because it's so relatable, and making/fixing mistakes is such a huge part of sewing. It makes me feel less frustrated knowing that that's just part of the process. (And to answer your question - me, sew without a bobbin thread for like a mile before realizing it? Nooooo nevvvverrrrr)
It is FAB!!💝
this dress turned out to cute!!!!
That fabric-store!!!! I would buy EVERYTHING!!!!!
It makes me feel good that even experienced people freak out when working on their sewing projects.
I totally do that too! I get too excited after pinning and try on my projects with the pins.
It looks like a handbook! 👍🏼
that fabric looks beautiful like a jewel
Hi, I'm new to sewing and almost gave up until I discovered your channel - I just love it! Thanks for sharing your tips! A wish for future would be a front slit that can be added to pants, I've been searching everywhere for an easy guide with no luck. Have a lovely week!
