@@GarageBuiltHondas no problem brotha. Honestly just sitting in the sun makes the micro scratches disappear but yeah just introducing heat causes it to self heal, same as most vinyls.

I probably would not have sealed it in but rather either used an oem sunroof cassette or simplified thin plastic tray for drainage into the oem channels. That way it is not only functional in keeping you dry buy also still open for a full sunroof restoration. Just keep a look out for parts to fully restore the sunroof to operational condition. Full sunroof parts are not as common but does happen often enough to not be considered impossible or wishful thinking. Great job anyways and another win for the community as an option for the sunroof dilema.

I want every last ounce of weight removed from this car. The options you mentioned would be good for someone with a car that's a lot cleaner too. Mines rough, and just a fun track car.

I would get a sheet re made and keep it factory re work the motor that pulls the heat out so well. Run window heat always the heat out the top the good air circulation around you with it closed cabin temps rise more than 26degrees your weight in degrees of wear on the motor in heat exchange against your oil that now gets hotter still because of lexan cools your motor less.

Great job! Will the steel lip that is perpendicular to the roof be an issue for the track? I know you’re wearing a helmet so that’ll be good, but perhaps it could take a slice out of it during a roll over…More of an issue for a street vehicle where the Noggin’ ain’t covered…thoughts?
