DIY NO SEW CURTAINS
DIY NO SEW CURTAINS!!
I love how curtains change the look of the entire space,so thought to DIY some with the fabric of my choice!
Steps:
1. Measure the size of the window you are making curtains for!
2. Cut the fabric 2 inches more from the measurements from both top and bottom side
3. Now fold the upper part using a glue gun.
4. Take any thick cord and fold it into half to make a loop and stick these cords at equal distance from each other on the folded part
5. Now take the bottom part of the curtains and cut the extra threads if any.
6. Fold the bottom part too and stick with the help of the glue gun!
7. Pass the loops of the cords through the curtain rod and tadaa your curtain is ready in no time!!
Note: The glue is not going to peel off in washing,just make sure you don't use very hot water for washing these curtains and also use the yellow glue sticks instead of the transparent ones,as the yellow ones are comparatively stronger.
I have made a few curtains with this technique 3 months ago,and have washed them multiple times,the glue doesn't peel off and that's why I am sharing this DIY with you!

This would look better at the end if you knew where you wanted the loops to be and tied a knot and cut tiny slits in the top so the glueing was all contained inside the top flap but overall i like the look

Hot glue and glue gun can be found at a fabric store.

Love it! Is that a regular hot glue gun? Or is that fabric glue? As you can see I’m not very handy so I’m not sure the difference lol😊

It’s the regular glue gun,just use the yellow glue sticks and not the white ones as yellow ones are more strong and durable
