Brian, your patience is incredible! No shop takes the time to remove all of the pieces that you are removing, it would cost an absolute fortune! I love the quality of your work, it's absolute perfection. I really love it! I don't have any chrome delete on my car. I've got a full paint correction, full paint paint protection film and full ceramic coating. They did a great job, but I wish that it could've been done to the level of detail that you are doing to Bob! Thank you so much for showing that it's possible to wrap your own car.

Brian, love your videos! Would be super awesome if you could do an entire series showing how to disassemble every part of the car!

Hi Brian, one thing you didn't cover in this video is how to actually remove the cap/cover that is on the side mirror. Is that difficult to do and how can we do it without breaking any clips? Thanks much!

Not gonna lie. All this disassembly is giving me a little anxiety. Probably why mine is still mostly stock.

Loving this! You've shown us exactly what's needed to wrap your own car.... More then most KZread videos out there.... Its a good step by step intro to wrapping and mirror is very intricate, highly detailed part with grooves and sharp edges 👍👍. But I don't think I have the guts to pull apart so many nuts and bolts haha... Very good job brian😎

Hey Brian do you know that the lower side under the mirror at 8:02 comes off pretty easy. Ones you remove the upper cap, there are 2 clips that hold the bottom piece in place. That way it’s easier to wrap that piece plus the remaining part where the mirror fold. I hope that helps. I did it myself even though it didn’t came out that great... it was my first time wrapping though. Great video!!

Great job. I did chrome delete, all except the side mirrors. Will need to do it soon, but to be honest I'm kind of afraid because it seems really complicated. I did it with the chrome still attached.

the mirror is really eazy to fully tak apart its only some clips and 4 pieces :) just did it to my model 3 to plasti dip all the chrome

these are the only things I have left to delete and I've been putting them off.....

This is SO the better way to do it, rather than leaving it on the car.

I'm wondering if you leave one of those mirror wires disconnected, will it disable the auto dim for the mirror at night without showing a trouble code for the car?

Don’t forget to punch out the drain hole at the bottom of the mirror. Looked like you covered it with your wrap there.

I chrome delete with the same color as rims as well as front scoop and rear spoiler

When you take the doors apart you should add more sound dampening since the car is so quiet and road noise such a concern.

I’m working on the X. The S looks like it is not possible due to how big and hood is where it moves. The X is in the works an I am very close. Video as soon as I have it figured out.

Wow to much to do for chrome delete. I would keep everything on, I couldn’t take parts apart with my luck something would happen. When I do get my Tesla and ever do that I would take it somewhere and tell them please don’t take parts apart lol 😂

Are you getting new wheels too? I'm really tempted to replace my 18s with the 19 TST flow forge wheels when it's time for new tires, but the price is painful.

No you can get the vinyl off with out taking the mirror off

Question, does any of this has a chance of voiding the warranty? Any sealed screws? Especially around the dash.

cucu some people don’t even remove the mirrors to add the wrap. Check out videos from “DIY Tesla” he does a darn good job without taking them off.

But Master Of Zen... whaaaaaat about those of us that are only students of zen? I don't think I have this level of patience
