    great video I've made probably thousands of these over the last couple years and I've never used the electric vibrater thingy. i see some people using it .. i want one now.. . I also never use paint. I was using actual white concrete mix and add charcoal pigment. no need for titanium when you have white concrete mix.. right?.. but...then realized the white mix took way too long to dry like 20 hrs... whoa.. so the cement all and titanium while not as white as the actual white concrete mix, it dries so fast. it's awesome.. what was funny tho is your respiratory mask that you don't use. 😄 good stuff.

    I use a bucket of water to clean my tools then wipe it off and throw away. The excess concrete gathers on the bottom. Every so often I dump the water in a hidden large concrete area on my property. As for my mixing bowl I let the concrete harden and crack it off and toss that in the garbage. Hope that helps.

    Hi Jai! I love this method of creating marble concrete jars! I have a question, though. I live in Dubai and Cement All isn't available anywhere here. I've got ACE Hardware nearby and they sell Quikrete 'Ready-to-use' concrete mix and Quikrete 'Fast-setting' concrete mix. Can I substitute Cement All with one of that? If so, which of the two options do you think is best? Once again, thank you so much for creating such amazing videos. You're a heaven-sent!!

    Hello! I really like your videos! I have a question about making marbled vessels with acrylic paint - I noticed that after unmolding a ready vessel my hands are dirty and the vessel is like "chalk". I'm using white mix + black paint. What might be an issue for the vessel leaving chalk-like dust on my hands (both white and black), I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong?

  • @upvibecandle

    @upvibecandle

    Жыл бұрын

    When cement dries, it loses water and becomes hard. The chalky feeling on your hand is because of the chemicals in cement reacting with water and forming solid substances. Some of these substances can stay on the surface and feel powdery or dry when you touch them. Once it cures and you seal it you should be good to go.

    @@kamikadze1300 It's hard to tell what's going on as I can't see your work but it is very possible it's efflorescence. Try washing as much off as possible and then seal. Efflorescence is when white powder forms on surfaces like concrete due to water carrying salts and leaving them behind as it dries. It's usually harmless but can indicate too much moisture and requires cleaning and fixing any water issues.
