DIY Manual to Electric Meat Grinder

Ойын-сауық

Just my version of a hand crank meat grinder that was converted to an electric meat grinder.
Big shout out to Grant Wyness & Balkan DIY for creating these videos that gave me the idea.

Hands down, one of the best setups I've seen yet! I love how you designed it so that you can remove the grinder for cleaning.

Not my idea I just copied what I seen on here. I'd like to use a different motor one that won't shutdown from over heating from it running to long

nice job. One of the only ones I've seen where you can remove the grinder for cleaning.

Are you happy with the size 22 grinder? Do you have any videos of you using it? I am ready to pull the trigger and getting the 880 motor from harbor freight, it has a much heavier motor and spins a little bit slower. I’m up in the air over a # 22 and a # 32. Any suggestions?

I apologize for the late response I'm just now and seeing where you come in and on the video. I will say that I'd like to set my setup but the only issue with it is that those Motors aren't necessarily made to be continuously running for a long period of time they will overheat and shut off until they cool down even though it does have a fan on the back side of the motor. I do plan to add a fan in the base under the motor and hopefully that will cool it down as it's running. That grinder has been perfect with no issues

Идеальная система для тех, кто занимается винокурением на пророщенном зерне. Бытовые мясорубки плохо справляются с помолом мокрого солода. А Ваша система подойдет замечательно.

@@jimswanny1193 throughout that process you'll want to shut it down maybe after 20 or so mins and let it cool down you can feel the motor casing as you're using to for hotness once it starts getting pretty warm then shut it down

I'm not exactly sure how many kilowatts the motor is. But I purchased the hoist from Harbor Freight so you should be able to find the information on their website or the manufacturer's website

To pay $100 for the motor & who knows how much for the grinder... LIKELY cheaper to buy a used meat grinder... you THINK?
