    I'm always fascinated when someone applies glue with their finger. This will probably be a professional, because I, an amateur, apply glue in my carpentry shop using anything but my finger.

    I’m a retired carpenter. I always apply glue with my finger. You can feel the thickness and any dry spots.

    I typically apply glue with silicon brush, but I enjoy peeling dried glue mixed with saw dust off my fingers.

    Best arbeidsintensief, vooral die gelamineerde beugels. Maar ontzettend de moeite waard: ze zijn prachtig! En die notenhouten sterknop, man wat een verschil met die plasic exemplaren. Geweldig!

    Nicely done! It may have taken a bit of time to make them, but it sure beats paying an arm and leg for the aluminum hold downs! Again, great job!

    Schöner Niederhalter, den ich so ähnlich auch schon mal gebaut habe. Lasse mir aber die Grundform von IKEA herstellen, da nehme ich vom Stuhl POÄNG Teile des Gestells, die die passende Rundung schon haben. Stühle stehen immer mal am Sperrmüll oder Freunde haben einen über. Ein Einrichtung zum Herstellen von Drehknöpfen war sehr aufschlussreich und werde ich mir genauer anschauen. Danke - Rudi - Deutschland

    Thanks for watching.The clamp uses oak and walnut. The jig is pine. The thickness of the strap is 1mm.

    Most joiners are missing some fingers, then according to your video they wouldn't be able to glue the parts to the clamps.
