Some of the maddest welding I've ever seen 🤣 And you know it's gonna be good when you have to hold the vice still 😂😳

Nice build, Good job. I'd like the ammo Box. The video was a little too long for me, but I watched it all! It should be no more than 8 to 10 minutes!

I keep a back up charge controller on hand and I also use the same diesel heater for emergency heat. I did install a Y splitter below the main internal tank with an auxiliary 20L tank that I use for long burn time. It takes roughly and hour to do the install with a few hot coffee breaks. I run 800 watts of solar panels and 4 100 ah LiPo batteries that I keep inside in a fireproof box. The house is wired for solar backup on critical items and not the HVAC, water heaters or stoves as I have propane tankless water heaters as back up along with various camp cooking system. All of this is actually my third back up as installed a 22kw Generac standby generator and a 500 gallon propane tank 5 years ago. If I get to a truly off grid life style… we can manage. Good tips on you cabin… so many people are not ready if things go south.

Interesting, you could of used the flap disc to safely remove the burrs off the metal, vs risking a stone or disc explode from using the side. At this point I'll say, you have an interesting model

Very nice build. I think you should have nested the chimney the other way though. Having the female ends on the bottom allows the the tar build up to run down back into the stove instead of running down the pipe.

One of the best I've seen, clever solution for the legs. I would have added a plate on the top to avoid flames flow directly through the chimney. Thanks for the video

@@OutdoorGoodGuy I guess it will add some flow restrictions and will deflect heat to the walls, I've seen it on other designs as well as on home stoves. But anyway, no doubt your design is good as it is

Waste of a good can. What you can't smell is the heavy enamel paint burning off every time you light a fire in it, and it never goes away.
