This is a great tutorial for the first few steps then when you pick up the yarn, it’s difficult to see what strands you’re grabbing next.

It's the same 3 steps repeated. I try to just look at them as numbers, and keep the cords somewhat seperated so even though you've moved one over they're still divided up indivudually as 1-4. So the 4th cord goes to the left, over the 3rd. 2nd cord to the left, over the 1st. 2nd cord to the right, over the 3rd..and repeat until the end. Makes it easier for my brain anyhow. I just keep repeating that in my mind until I finish..and eventually it gets less confusing. Good luck if you do give it a go!❤☺

She says at the beginning is 40x4, meaning a 40 inch strand by 4mm width cord.

@laceymartin5559 I took that to mean 4 cords, 40 inches long.

@@ellenwhite6541Yeah, I'm with you! It definitely meant 4 pieces of cord, each cut to 40 inches long. I just finished making one, and used 3mm cord. It looks identical to the one in the video. So I'm guessing it's 3mm, possibly 4mm. I don't think it's anything less than 3mm, or more than 4mm though.
