After a lot of trial and error I figured it out. If you want a lanyard that is 39 inches around (basically doe to your stomach) you need 3 strands of 106 inches and 1- 25 inch cord to knot it off at the end.

She’s selling a kit to make this, which she states she’s already cut the correct lengths. The reason she doesn’t give measurements is bc this is a tutorial for a kit that she is-again-selling. There are some basic Google searches you can do to figure out how to find the right length for your macrame projects.

Don't tell anyone what the length of the cord is... the basic building block of macrame!
