Hello.... If you want to use 3 mm rope please increase the length by 25-30 inches of each rope . You need to increase the size of the hoop also. Take 14 inch (diameter) hoop . Thanks for watching 😊.

Hi! tried this doesn't look as good as yours, I'm just wondering, how do you end up with fewer roots at the end? did you cut off a lot of the ropes? I've ended up with too many roots. I must admit I used 3mm cord on a 30cm circle, I should have used a bigger one. Nice work, I'll try again with the correct sizes :)

Hi... After completing the trunk some short cords will be left . You have to cut them before starting the roots. After finishing the roots also you have to cut few cords that are very short. Thanks for your feedback.

Hi, if the ring size is 16 cm, reduce the thickness of the rope . Use 1 mm instead of 2 mm. Reduce the length of the rope by half. Decrease the no. of ropes like 15 or 12 accordingly and reduce the no. of rows as well.

Hello! For 16 inch hoop you can use 3 mm rope and increase the number of ropes too ( instead of 18 use 21 ropes of each colour). Also increase the length of each rope by 25-30 inches. Thanks 😊
