I’ve found cleanly wrapping tape around the cardboard helped make it more durable and long lasting and prevents the cardboard roll from tearing when making the larks knots. Also, I found hot gluing his hat on was easier as I couldn’t get mine to stay on. Very cute and creative craft. Thank you😊

Those are great tips! 😊😊
Love these!! Thank you so much for posting! *Helpful Hint* when tying a bow, if you tie it using the hand opposite your dominant (i.e., use your left hand to tie a bow instead of your right), it'll always come out perfectly straight horizontally! I use that trick every time I need to make a bow and these adorable gnomes got one too!!

They’re fantastic. I’ve only just started learning macramé so these are exactly what I was looking for to try for this years festivities. Thank you.
I've just started learning to do macrame, and this video was outstanding. Being able to start small and simple prevents you from getting discouraged. Thank you so much for this tutorial. I wish I had found it sooner so I could add these to the ornaments I'm making for upcoming craft events. I won't be able to have any ready for tomorrow's event, but should be able to add a few to a couple of other events coming up before Christmas. Again thank you so much. ❤
Love these small ornaments! I'm new to Macramé, and these look doable for me!! I appreciate you sharing your tutorial. Blessings

Чтобы продеть бусинку попробуйте использовать тонкий крючок для вязания.Спасибо за игрушки.очень красиво.
Due to overthinking things, the star is the bead 1/4 in or is the hole 1/4 inch?
I’m looking at cord on Amazon. Are you using white? Natural? Beige? I don’t want the bright white look. These are precious and I know I can do them. Thanks for sharing!

I'm just using natural cord, so it's sort of off white. Good luck and thanks for stopping by 😊
If I were planning to make about 8 of these cute gnomes as a Thanksgiving craft activity. .how much string would I need to purchase?
@MarchingNorth

Ok, I’ve been calculating to try and figure this out for you- hopefully this is accurate 😅 I think you’ll need about 80 feet of single strand cotton string (assuming you’re using 4mm and you’ll use 10 pieces per beard) and 217 feet of 3mm twisted cotton rope- I know it says 2mm but I just realized I actually used 3mm and I’m about to update it- although it doesn’t really matter if you’re using scrap material. I hope that helps! Good luck 😊😊

@@MarchingNorth thank you!!
I sent you a pm on FB by but i thought I'd ask on here also. But how do I store my marcrame inventory such as angels with a lot of fringe in the wings and body and also gnomes with the beards correctly so that they stay nice and neat?

I think I'm going to make a video about this topic- I'm going to do a little research first and see how many ideas I can come up with 😊
En español para hacer el arbolito qué medidas las cuerdas
What size are the first wooden bead?
What are the lengths for each
What type of cord is the beard made from.
@MarchingNorth

It’s single strand cotton macrame string- I have a ton of scraps from my past projects and I used scrap pieces of various thicknesses. 😊😊
Where do you buy your cord?
@MarchingNorth
Жыл бұрын
Niroma Studio and Ganxxet are my two favorite places- there are lots of great places to buy cord online, you’ll find a pretty long list of cord suppliers in the US and several other countries in this post: www.marchingnorth.com/best-macrame-supplies/
Where is the best place to find rings and beads for macrame?
