Because the windshield is a litteral sponge it just gonna go everywhere and not hold sharp lines.

Not true though as its just personal preference, plus computer monitors, tv and phones are moving towards 21:9 ratio for a while now.

chungdha 1. This video was uploaded in 2014, and in 2014 you didnt have widescreen devices. 2. I see some people who has a widescreen pc monitor, but ive never seen any TV widescreens. 3. It would look more like an yt video if it was 16:9.
