you could simplify it and use things you have at home. im going to use a cardboard box (someone left a comment about lunchboxes), tin foil around card stock, a flashlight or 2 (putting a hole in the back so that i can stick it into place and be able to turn it off), and maybe more cardstock in the front. I'm going to see if that's too thick though.

DIY KZreadrs could use this video as a 'how to' to produce good videos. Way too many DIY videos feature: i. an overly long intro while some guy explains what he's about to do. We should be able to understand that from the title of the video, if it is properly descriptive. ii. some guy droning on about each step, when all it takes is good camera work of the sort seen here. iii. crisp well-thought camera lighting and camera angles. iv. SPED UP video. Big yes to this -- every video I watch I speed it up. I don't need to see every excruciating detail to get what you're doing. (See iii. above). FWIW, a video shouldn't take more than six minutes to explain/show something unless it's highly technical. Less is more. (Don't get me started on the morons who insist on typing or writing out words on paper to explain what they are doing. We don't need to watch that... or watch you do it on screen and then back-space to correct your typos. Gah!)
