Oh that is so awesome to hear. It is not that easy the first time. There are still some frustrations here and there but all in all, the result is awesome. Good luck!
They turned out very well!! I been thinking about making pins, magnets myself and now I'm sold on it ;)

@nuffypuffy

It's really just experimentation and lots of research. Some printers might print darker than it should be. So, you need have a few extras shrink sheets for testing. I'll make a video about this to explain more :)
Thanks for this ! ❤

Canon MB5170 Inkjet Printer. This printer is massive. Mainly for office use. But I suggest you search for printers that can take in papers that are thicker than 300gsm. I hope this helps :)
The last step you do , i dont have this machine can i dispense with it
They look so GOOD!!! I really want to try this but I only have a laser printer. Anyone know if Inkjet printers are affordable?

I tried this method last night and when I put the mod podge dimensional magic on it caused the colors to bleed. Any tips on how to prevent this?
@nuffypuffy
Жыл бұрын
Maybe you could try to use protective spray, let it dry, and then add the mod podge. I've tried dimensions magic and I didn't like it.
Did you use the white shrink film? And also have you tried printing on the transluscent kind?
@nuffypuffy
Жыл бұрын
I have used both but I prefer the white one. For the translucent one, I had to paint the back part. It works better as a keychain not for pins and magnets.
@setsu_u
Жыл бұрын
@@nuffypuffy thank you! This is exactly what I worry about the transluscent one as the color might not come out solid like the one in the white shrink film

Hi, I got it from shoppe. There’s no brand. Just a printable shrink plastic for inkjet. The link is in my bio.
Is it okay if I just dry it out under the sun? and not using the uv light
@nuffypuffy
2 жыл бұрын
Of course you can! I'd prefer natural UV aka the SUN. Sometimes, mine turned out super sticky when I use the UV lamp. Maybe coz it didn't go long enough or my UV resin is not up to quality.
Hiii can I know what resin u used 🥺 I wanna try this some day

So we’re printing on the non glossy side correct? And for baking, what’s the temp and how long? Thanks x
@nuffypuffy
10 күн бұрын
@@sarahseptiana8092 yes. Print on the non glossy side. I can’t remember the temp, maybe you can try 160 degrees. Start at a low temperature because different ovens work differently. Then bump it up if you think the shrinking is too slow. For the duration, I waited till it uncurled then I quickly take it out to flatten it.

@nuffypuffy

If you are using UV resin, put a layer first then add another layer just for the magnet and make sure you hold the magnet while using the UV light, otherwise it will keep sliding around. I hope this helps!

@nuffypuffy

I used a printable shrink plastic, it depends on your country, I got mine online in Singapore, the link is in my description. If you don’t have a printer, you can just draw and cut it, make sure to leave some space to punch a hole if you want to make it into a keychain. I hope this helps.
