How's your bell holding up? Just finished mine & it came out damn near perfect. Here's what I did differently on mine based on way too much research: 1. Didn't want the pipe in the oven, so I heated up the sand. 450° for 30 min. Then poured it into the PVC. 2. Used a board with pegs to bend to shape. 3. Put 3 bolts on each end of the handle that gets inserted into the quikcrete. This & the curved PVC will help anchor it into the quikcrete. 4. Used the green bag of quikcrete. Supposedly stronger, better cohesion. 5. Used a thick black trash bag to mix the quikcrete. This speeds up the mixing part & really helped give it the wet oatmeal consistency. My coronabell weighed in at 30 lbs. Thanks for your video! PS - Picked up a regulation size And1 brand basketball @ TJMaxx for $4 for my 2nd kettlebell build. I'm using a long faux leather strip/cord to close the top with a baseball stitch + clear silicon sealant.

The sand is important if it goes in the oven to prevent collapse and kinking of the pvc...can’t wait to see your next videos

Thats pretty awesome man. How are you getting same bends in pvc for sets or was it just the one? And then random question because I see this on gym vids and can never get the answer but what is the name of this song?

If you're making more than one & want a consistent handle shape, you can use a peg board to shape the heated pipe. It's basically a sheet of plywood with thick dowels sticking up where you want to bend the pipe. You'll need pegs on the inside & outside to hold the shape.

Does the bottom flattens out a bit when the concrete settles? If it does, this is perfect for what I need. Thanks bro!

Hey brother, glad you found this helpful. Yes the bottom flattens on its’ own when you start putting the concrete in.
