Ten minutes of simplicity. One inch and one-and-a-quarter inch for links on the first. Turn the links on the second after the wraps are completed. Four inch lengths and start the loops/wraps one-and-half inches from either end for the third (I forget to add links, too). Make sure both ends are flush cut for all links. I love it. 😁

I have been learning so much from your tutorials, Question: does make a difference what tumber do you buy?
@ZurickDesigns

I bought the cheapest little tumbler at Michaels and I think it’s fine. I have nothing to compare it too though. It’s small but it’s fine for what I do.

@@ZurickDesigns Thank you 😊
Hi! I have been watching all your tutorials and I would like to say thank you for sharing some ideas. I would like to ask question. Is it strong enough to use gauge 24 or 22 medium temper silver plated wire to make jump rings for making bracelet or necklace?
@ZurickDesigns
3 жыл бұрын
Thanks so much for watching! I honestly think those gauges would be too weak for jump rings. 22 gauge you might be able to get away with a split ring (looks like double jump ring). That way it won’t pull apart. Hope that helps ☺️💜

Complicated process. Makes bending orthodontic wires look like child’s play. Very interesting.
@ZurickDesigns
4 жыл бұрын
Right! I wonder what that’s like!
Do you use half hard or dead soft ? Thanks
@ZurickDesigns
3 жыл бұрын
Dead soft when I can but the copper dead soft is harder than sterling dead soft if that makes sense
Hi there, Um why have you missed the vital step of re-tempering the wire after bending before assembly ? With out it the loops will pull apart far to easily.
What do you do to keep skin from changing green from patina copper?
@ZurickDesigns
3 жыл бұрын
I think it depends on the person. I personally don’t have a problem with copper.
@ZurickDesigns
3 жыл бұрын
You could seal it with a sealer but I don’t have any experience with that.
Is it okey for gauge 24 for head pins? If not what should I do to use it for? Thanks
@ZurickDesigns
3 жыл бұрын
Yes! Great for bead dangles. Even bead links as long as the loops are wrapped so they don’t pull open 👍🏻

Can u please tell me why are the other two wire colour are different...and whats the name of the other wire ?

I used all bare copper wire. Some have been oxidized and are darker in color.
How do you oxidize??
@ZurickDesigns
3 жыл бұрын
I use Liver of Sulfer chips dissolved in hot water. I dip the jewelry until it’s the color I want.
Those tools what kind are those

Still trying to master the art of recording! That’s not how I normally work. Very awkward for me. Thanks for watching! ☺️💜
Great tutorial and very useful, but the music was unbearable. It hurt my ears. Had to watch with sound turned off mostly. This level of background noise will chase away folks. Not sure why anyone adds music to a demo video, it is a huge irritant. Try listening to a video with music from beginning to end. Most folks who MAKE the video never LISTEN to it, so don't have a realistic idea of what the music does to the ears. Its like two channels of sound simultaneously and prevents concentration as well.
@ZurickDesigns
Жыл бұрын
Thanks for the tip! I’ve toned the music down a lot since I first started this journey! Always trying to find ways to improve! ☺️💜
The video was great, but the large difference between voice and very loud music was annoying. I think the music adds nothing to the narration - it would be best if it was left out. Thank you.
