I have been looking for ages at how to achieve this for my kitchen window that overlooks my breakfast area and could not find anything not even on Pinterest! After watching you do it I now can have a better idea for achieving this look! Yours look amazing by the way!

This looks fabulous! Excellent Job! 👏🏻👍🏻 I know the regret of not buying an item the first time and finding out later that it’s no longer available. Very frustrating! Thank goodness you didn’t have to wait too long. I wonder how difficult it would be to use planks of wood and router the trim details? I love the idea of using bi-fold doors as shutters. I’m renovating an RV and looking online for some unique ideas for window treatments. You certainly gave me a lot to think about. You’re a genius! Great Work!

Ha! Thanks for the sweet comment. The shutters would be good because they are so light since they're hollow. Planks of wood would look nice but that would be pretty heavy. good luck! I wanna renovate and RV!

Wow, what a good idea! I really need some shutters for my front window so might see if I can find some wardrobe doors.

We bought two sets of interior plantation shutters at Habit For Humanity also. $65.00 for 4 large window panels and 3 sliding glass door panels. But NO frames. And now we have to figure frame installation.

That’s exciting! I love habitat! Good luck with your project. You should also get your hinges from habitat , they usually have large selection and they’ll be a fraction of the cost of the hardware store.

would piano hinges worked?

yes! but you would have to mount the hinge on the frontier back of door, not the end.
