In this video I show off a couple recent projects, explain a little bit of my tuning methods and whatnot and show off my collection of parts and pieces. enjoy!

If you want to figure out the "smarter" way to test, you could set up pots to adjust resistance on the fly so you can tune your x-over/response curve without swapping components.

Yeah, I've thought about this. Fearless audio actually does this with one of their iem's. My main problem is finding pots that are small enough or finding a connector big enough to handle all of the conductors. Right now I've found the easiest way is to just set up the iem on a rig connected to the coupler so I can swap out drivers/tube lengths/dampeners on the fly which makes it easier to build/tune an iem without using as many crossover components.

Really nice shells and covers! My friend, i want to try to build a custom iem but i have so many questions... If its possible, id like to know what types of uv resin do you use to make the shells. I have seen a lot of videos where they use two types, one to make the shell and another to do a shinny final coat but nobady seys what the use... Thanks man ❤

Thanks bro. If I sold them it would probably be in the $150 range. their performance is really good but I'm still not quite happy with the tuning. It's like 85% there though.

@hi-friaudioman

It depends, what size and material are you looking for? I know a few good ones but it depends on what diaphragm material you want. Also the shell is pretty important. My friend has a free shell you can 3D print that works well with some DD but not all.

@@hi-friaudioman Hello,the diaphragm material is not important and the size,the main sound quality,I bought kz headphones on Aliexpress,the right one is wheezing,the right speaker is faulty 10mm,the seller refused to return the money,allegedly because I can't prove that it is faulty,so I need two speakers with high-quality sound to replace myself

The CIEM look wayy too deep inserted, I have custom molds of eartips that barely enter the ear canal and they provide already perfect seal for the sound. Could cutting down the nozzle help you for the build?? Looking at the shape I don't even know how your customer could insert this resin mold back into his ear. CIEM is something I could be interested to request for a next upgrade (as a owner of a P5 the design flair is something I wish to reconsider)

You could be right. They are my first ciem project so I am sending them to the user for their opinion on fit before making the CIEM. I thought about cutting down the nozzle but I tried inserting them into my ear and they actually fit okay.

What i would do is sleave all drivers channels to a breadcrumb and play with ASP tuning there until finalization. I honestly can't wait when multichannel DAC+DSP cables would become a thing. Finalizing all that inside a shell without a way to tune feels as such an outdated way to do the thing.
