where do i find the tool to unscrew the jar coupler? the coupler is broken on the jar and wont come off - its hard to grip it because it does not have those extensions anymore.

hi, In my Preethi mixie small jars old coupler - all the 4 white extensions are broken. So, I'm not able to get the old coupler out. The jar coupler tool is no use, since I'm not able to engage it with the jar coupler. Any ideas how to get the broken jar coupler out?

Hi Latha, this is one of those tough ones . At this point you have to take it to the shop because I was unable to open one of jar coupler in the same condition. Unfortunately we might not have the tools to do this unless you can find a tool to hold the base to twist it open . Good luck .

hey the blade spins but gets stuck easily - it does not do this previously! is this a sign that the coupler on the power unit needs replacing? i am also thinking perhaps the blade is dull and lost its sharpness perhaps?

Hi I think there is a safety point in that the coupler stops spinning on the axle before the motor burns out.

You have to replace the coupler because the back side of the coupler might have lost its holding point. That's why if there's no load the blade moves freely. When we put any load, motor runs but not the blade.
