actually the slot given on mixer body is used to insert screw driver below the coupler instead of holding it with cloth from the above

HI.. I am unable to remove the broken coupler with screw driver .. Its seems to be very tightly fastened... Mine is Murphy Richards mixie.. any clue how else to remove it? Update: Never mind! I was able to remove it, just the way you explained. Thanks very much!!!!!!
