I'm in the middle of replacing a leaking radiator now in a 2007 S80. I think it is tighter than the X90 and a pain in the butt. I wasn't worried about taking the fan out the top and damaging the old radiator but it will be hard to get it back in and not damaging the new radiator. I think I may have to have the radiator already dropped down in front of the engine and somehow sneak the radiator up between it and the AC condenser. I'm a driveway, shade tree mechanic and that front end is gonna have to go up quite a bit I think.

Pro tip cut out some cardboard from a box and place it on the radiator then pull out when fan is in place.
