Great video, very easy to follow. I'm making several of these for Christmas gifts for teen granddaughters. I sew many gifts as I have 17 grandchildren! Quilts, purses, zippered bags, hot mats, coozies, eyeglass holders, bookmarks and the list goes on. Love, love, love your videos, so helpful!

I would make a triangle corner template from 2 layers of card stock Elmer’s glued together for sturdiness. Then all 4 pointy corners will be boxed the same.

Thank you soooo much for this video! I used to sew reversible sling bags a couple of years ago and then stopped making bags for a while. I want to make one now and I had the pattern for the sling bag but I could not remember how to put it all together and I could not find my Pin on Pinterest from a couple years ago. I searched for help on youtube and your video came up. You saved me! I could not remember all the steps for putting it together. Your voice is so calming and you explain everything so easy. Two outfits one bag...just flip it over...HOW WONDERFUL IS THAT!!!😁 That will save me some $$$$$$. Again never disappointed. I'm so ready to do this. And you're absolutely correct. There are not many if any Tutorials on reverse bags. Love your tutorials for that very reason. The things that I like are hard to find in tutorials...and when I do they can be a little much for my liking. Again edgy is my thing but tasteful is as well and you give me that. I would find it helpful if you started by saying how much fabric we need to purchase. Yes, I can figure it out, but it would be nice to know that I could make X number of bags from one yard, for instance. Thanks, I'm going to make this, cute bag.

I get it, but I don't buy fabric by the yard. I use clothing and other upcycled materials to make my bags. I typically make the pattern to fit whatever item I have found to make my creation.😊💕💕

Gosh, it's been so long since I've sewn with fabric by the yard. I'd say 1 1/2 yards of each to be safe, if using a wide decorator fabric, you wouldn't need as much.💖💖💖
