The next requirement is a clean deck for air flow and dry grass if possible.

Thank you for your comment. It's been really wet here as of late. Believe it or not, I had cleaned the mower deck just before mowing. It only took a minute to make that mess. Even with all that grass stuck to the bottom of the deck, the new high-lift blades were able to blow hard enough to stop the clogging. I mowed for nearly three hours and not once did it clog.

I've been looking for this video! I'm going to order some as my chute clogs constantly, especially if I let the grass get too long. I've been curious about the hybrid high lift mulching blades as well.

Clean all that caked grass off underneath deck will greatly improve air-grass flow
