DIY hot water heater. Heated with propane or rocket stove.
3/8" copper line wrapped around 3 inch heating duct and a 4 inch duct over the top of it. I'm going to heat it with a propane weed torch or a rocket stove.

Any luck??? I need to figure out a creative way to make a pool heater and I have an extra weed burner that sure does kick out some heat!!! THANKS!!!

briggsk1 Works great! I'm going to try to put the copper in the three inch tube and run the fire directly through the copper!

briggsk1 this heater worked great... I did change one thing on it though. I took 2 inch pvc and wrapped the 3/8ths pipe around that and then just pulled out the pvc. I then took the 3 inch stove pipe and wrapped the 3/8ths copper with that. I then took the weed torch and placed it up directly through the copper pipe.It works great as an on demand water heater for my outdoor shower. For a pool heater I would use 1/2 poly pipe utilizing the sun to heat the water. You can find what people have done on KZread .
