Today's video is a tutorial for super easy treats that your horse will love!
All you need is:
1 cup oats
1 cup flour
1/2 cup horse feed
1/4 cup molasses
1 carrot
1 apple

    I am definitely going to make these for my youngster 3 year old mare, as I am trying to get her better with being led and not be sooooo stubborn she is like the proper mare.

    I make very similar treats and the horses absolutely love them! Oh, and if you don't have molasses you can also use honey. :)

    I’ve never seen anyone else with the same name as me on KZread before , the only difference is I don’t use fodders . Would you be able to use golden syrup or would it have too much of a high sugar content

    you could always make this for a rabbit. that's why I'm watching so I can make it for my rabbits and horses if you switch out the feed for alfalfa hay and the molasses for banana

    Little tip for the molasses: grease your cup with some vegetable oil before you put in the molasses and it should slide right out ;)

    This recipe is so good my horses adored it. When I did it I didn’t add as much apple because my horses feed is apple flavoured. Thanks for this recipe I’ll use it probably for the rest of my life

    Cool im going to give that a go. I have to make it a very rare treat as my horse has had laminitis in the past so we keep sugers to a minimum. But they look so yummieee. Your horses really look as if they enjoyed them. Thanks again for sharing x x

    What a grand idea! Just mentioning...a food processor to do the carrots & apple & an ice scream scoop to dip the portions out. Ice cream scoops are wonderful to use!!!! All horses agreed....Mmmmmm! Treats are good!!! Chili said, no fair! Do you spell Chili's name Chili (like food) or Chilly (like cold)??????     You can actually replace the feed with 1/4 cup of chia seeds soaked in 2/3 cup of water and it works great. plus, it's great for horse's digestive systems

    No you’d need to use honey if you don’t have molasses, olive oil won’t bind it together

    Yes but I’d add warm water to mush them up first and you may have to cook them for a little longer

    Cuz because some of that be GMO genetically modify you must grow your own be better if you have clear skies too try HP water you should get a filter too because of the small percentage fluoride in HP water in their stores most of it be dramatically modified but not the the water just a small percentage of fluoride
