Comfy Cozy Lyrics (I wanted to just do a quick harmonized refrain to play in the beginning but it turned into a full fledged song lmao)
Cozy, Cozy, I want to be cozy in the comfort of my own home
Cozy, Cozy, I want to be cozy in the comfort of my own home
Im so cozy, Im so cozy, Im so cozy
Im so cozy, feelin' rosy as a posy
Im so cozy pick that booger in my nosey
Got and itch in my sock, I scratch my toes-y
Cozy (comfy cozy comfy cozzayy, oooh whoaaa) Cozy I wanna be cozy in the comfort of my own home (in the comfort of my own home babayys)
Cozy Cozy I wanna be cozy in the comfort of my own home
I'm at my desk feelin' bless, I'm not lazy (#blessed)
Workin' hours on a dress, I'm a lil bit crazy (crazy crazy)
Read a book, watch some flicks, I'm feelin' doze-y (*exaggerated snore*)
On the gram postin' pics I'm feeling boast-y (snap snap)
I'm gettin' pose-y and your thinking, do you know me? (who's that girl?)
Yo settle down dude it's yo girl Lyds Naomi
Ima flex in my suit gettin' groceries
people look me up and down "AT LEAST I'M COZY!" (I'm cozy)
Cozy (comfy cozy comfy cozzayy, oooh whoaaa) Cozy I wanna be cozy in the comfort of my own home (in the comfort of my own home babayys)
Cozy Cozy I wanna be cozy in the comfort of my own home (comfy cozy, comfy cozy, comfy cozy)
Cozy, Cozy
I wanna be
Cozy Cozy

The song at the end sold me 😂. What first motivated you to start sewing and making your own clothing? Also, how’d you learn and how long did it take you to get proficient enough to start making clothes?

Thank you! I grew up in a large family which meant hand me downs, thrifted, or sewn-by-my-mom clothing. I always loved fashion from a very young age and anything artsy as well. I asked my mom to teach me sewing in my teens. I just kept hacking at it, starting with paper patterns, and I always had such a high standard in my mind so I kept slowing down my approach to achieve accuracy. I made my prom dress, then my portfolio garments for university. Then I learned pattern drafting and more sewing techniques in school. If you are learning to sew, start with a pattern and a tutorial, follow the instructions, take it slow, understand your mistakes and learn from them, you'd be surprised how quickly you excel. The key is patience and attention to detail. Its really a wonderful craft!

I came for the sweatpants, I subscribed off the strength of the intro alone. Hadn't even watched the tutorial yet. Your energy has me even more excited to create!
You were one of the only people that address what type of fabric they use thank youuu, and love the song “ I wanna to be cozyyy”

Love how your rib knit fabric matches the color of your sweatshirt and pants. I can't seem to find matching rib knit so I use a contrasting color of either white or black rib knit for my waistband and cuffs because those colors are much easier to find.

One of the nicest home made tracksuits I have seen yet - So professional! looks amazing! Wondering if you can give me some advice. I would like to purchase a beginner sewing machine, do you have any recommend ?
@LydiaNaomi
2 жыл бұрын
Thank you! Here is my recommendation video kzread.info/dash/bejne/pn2fsdCnl9HIiaw.html. I recommend Janome for a basic mechanical machine! But the other specific models are also great candidates.
Love this! Is the pattern in stock? Also could i print it out on normal paper from a printer and glue the separate pieces together?
@LydiaNaomi
3 жыл бұрын
Yes and yes, never ending stock really. The file is made to accommodate both US letter and A4 paper. There is also A0 size for your local copy shop if you wanted :) there are detailed instructions within.
Bought your patterns and they are all great! For grocery chic pants I did XL and its like suuuuper big - could you share the size you sew in the video please? I need to size it down a looot :) Thank you!

Hi Tjasa, so glad you like the pattern! I am always making/wearing a small :)
Love it! Where did you get the clear pattern paper?
@LydiaNaomi
3 жыл бұрын
Thank you! I got it from amazon or my local sewing supply shop :)
a lil late here but - would you suggest doing this without a serger machine?? Im trying debate if i should wait till xmas when i get one to do this cozy look.... but also, i wanna be cozy now.
@LydiaNaomi

For the oversize look you may be able to get away with a straight stitch, or you could use a zigzag as an alternative. But overlock is truly the best! :)
love the vid, where can i buy the same pattern weights
@LydiaNaomi
2 жыл бұрын
Hey, thank you! All of those weights were given to me so I can't really help much. I think i found the paper weight at a thrift store and the long weights are inserts for leg workout straps that were also found at a thrift store by my mom .
You are hilarious 😂

@@LydiaNaomi awesome thank you! I love ur patterns! I’ve been sewing for years but not constantly so i consider myself a beginner and I love how easy they are to follow :)
Hi! Is sewing allowance included in the pattern? It should be included according the instructions on etsy, but it doesn't look like that. For example the top lines (lenght) of pieces 7 and 8 are longer than mine (from this video it looks that also bottoms of these pieces are longer)..I'm a bit confused now :-D if there is a SA how many cm is it? Thank you!
@LydiaNaomi
Жыл бұрын
The seam allowance is included and is 3/8" or 1cm. The pattern is slightly different from the video. It has been modified according to feedback over time sorry for the confusion ☺️

I’m dead why are you so cool?!? I have a q! Do you use only inches in the instructions or do you also have cm? I’m not sure if I would understand inches so just to be sure 😅😅
