DIY: Homemade Dremel Cork Drum Sanders

Ойын-сауық

Very practical, incredible easy and very durable, you can use different abrasive paper grits.
You just need:
Dremel or any other rotary tool.
Sandpaper similar to the one that i used.
Wood glue.
Plastic pipe (i used 16mm)
Painting/paper tape
Cork !!
Very easy and cheap to do, this is an updated version of the first video that i did 3 years ago ;)

Yes, wood glue works if you use "painters tape", when it dryes it "fuses" to the paper grit.

For people asking about the pvc pipe diameter: he has to sand the cork (which is 24/25 mm diameter) so it all depends on how much you sand it down. E.g: Lets say you have a 25 mm cork and sand 5mm off from it, your pvc pipe needs to be 20mm. This explanation sounds kinda silly but since I see so many people asking the same...

in this case i used 16mm pvc pipe, the cork just need to be sanded a little bit bigger than the inner diameter of the pvc pipe for a tight fit, thank you for your reply :)
