I expected to see a machine milling foam... I saw much more than that! A complete build timelapse of a fantastic machine. Excellent, thank you.
I study engineering and make my own projects as well, this has become a motivational video for me! Epic build and video
I watch in awe! Ty for sharing this monster with us...
That is amazing. Very interesting, thank you for sharing.
You are a genius Chris it is pleasure to know such a high caliber guy for almost 12 years!

@@chrislau9776 you make great machine. do you use powermill to make G-code ?
Your super talented. Would like to see more of the process or plans you used. I know you'll be successful at what ever you chose to do. Wow great looking machine.
such talented people we have today, thanks.
You're the Man! I appreciate a real craftsman!
Melhor projeto que eu já vi até agora parabéns
Great build man! Wonderful machine!
A like from France, Great work!
Great work! Amazing skills!
Exceptionally well done young man!
Great job, you're an artist,
What a great build!
Wonderful job you've done 👍
Amazing machine design!

Это просто невероятно! Молодец!
Absolutely amazing build!! Will the build plans be released for this? Would love to make one of these myself to use for my University project
That is just fantastic!!
well done.. lots of work!
Genuine genius man wonderful
GREAT JOB. CONGRATULATIONS !!!!!!!!!!!!
Da Complimenti... un gran lavoro...👍👍👍
Parabéns, top show. 👏👏👏
Would great to to see mini video series on electronics overview..as well the bc axis...and the build of the cnc in more detail

May be later i will upload more video later.
Man, don’t you just hate it when you need to make a fiberglass mold so you build a beautiful 5 axis precise computer -controlled milling machine? Hat it when that happens… In all seriousness great stuff! My jaw dropped when I saw the electronics cabinet. Thing of beauty! 😍
Espectacular, sin palabras. Me gustaria tener esos conocimientos.
One of the few times i'm happy with the youtube suggestive vids! Great machine! great, great work! What do you use to produce the CAM?
Sweet home you got there ;)
This is absolutely amazing, i would love to see your plans to build one of these!

Dear i want to made 5 axis machine and i am mechanical designer use solid work software and also known about electronic I want to lern only some concept And what's programming software you use i means not mach3 But form which software
Schon geil wenn man sowas bauen kann 👍🏻
Wow, you are a pro - Share it and you will make god happy!
wow!!! what a build!! did you post somewhere every step? I would like to build one...
Excellent video so nice
Amazing, awesome. Please share your project in detail. Thanks
Supper like for this work.
Great work
Congrats from Brazil.. Tell us about software and components that you used in this project.
Respect from Germany
Good to see a girl doing this kinda thing!
Nice work
Good work.🙏🙏🙏
Hey, great video! How much were the materials for this build, including controllers, stepper/servo motors, etc.?
100%. Effort . professionelly
Top work
This is probably one of the best videos out there that shows I can create a 5 axis CNC to build my own molds. Do you have plans that you are willing to share?
Greeting from Ukraine! Amazing work done! Which CAM program for 5axis do you use?
@MyllerSWE

Try Deskproto!
Congratulations amazing work I want to ask how did you configure mach3 kinematics link distance vs
Good job.
Great project my friend, one question, could the Masso CNC controller (5axis version) could be used to build a 5 axis cnc machine similar to the Pocket NC?, I want to mill discs of aluminum of 5inch diameter by 1inch thick, (with nema23 and 1000w spindle) and what do you think about the precision of this Masso controlles?
Excellent machine! Thanks for sharing the video! Which control program do you use? Mach3? And which CAM program?
Great Work! May I ask what boards and driver/steper controller you are using?
fantastic....

I would love to make on in smaler dimension, but i dont know where to start because i expect i will get lot of problems when it comes to coding for 5-axis.
c est formidable

Great work mate !! I am currently working on the same machine. Is there any way you could release the plans of your work ? Could you also share how u made you B/C head ? Overall amazing work. Thanks in advance. aaayy , i see down in the comments other individuals are also interested in the same questions. Also , how would you do automated tool changing on such a machine ?? i was looking at ACCtek AMK1212 machine, it is a beast.
Badass!!
Супер шикарно !
Speechless
Great build. Where do you buy your cnc parts from? I visit HK regularly but don't know where to physically go to get quality parts at a decent price.
Exellent.
what do you use to program and control the 5axis? looks like mach3 for controller
it looks easy
congratulation from France , greate Job ! one question, what kind of glue do you use at 4' to glue the diferent foam layers together ? => could you share the brand and reference of the glue . thanks in advance !
@chrislau9776
5 жыл бұрын
I brought that glue from a air-condition system & parts shops (Sorry they don't have any brand on packing) and its for glue up a XPS panels.
Came for the cnc stayed for the Trance Music 🎶😎
How do you configure the B, C center axis? Do you work off of 0,0 and adjust tool offset for each tool? I have been looking and all are about table table set up. Please shed some light.
Impressive
Молодец девченка!
Hello, thanks for your amazing videos. I'm designing my own 5axis CNC milling router. I have a difficult question about z axis physical (switch) limits. .. When the spidle is points down there is a limit to avoid table collision, BUT..... when head axis B is rotated 90º I´ll need to move Z down to the base.. Who could I set this B limit depending on the B axis position?... 😅.. Thanks again
Do you have a link to the bc axis aka attachment for the 5th axis you bought. Was thinking on purchasing one to mount on the z axis of my machine build
Can you tell me where I can get a set of plans to build one like that you did a great job
If only the music had half the quality as the machine you're building... just kidding. Great video. THX³
Amazing build! Great video and I wanted to know how you set up your kinematics, and tool point offsets? Did you write the post processor?
@chrislau9776
4 жыл бұрын
Yes, I did wrote my own post processor for cam software to fit this mine diy 5AXIS machine
@HandyDan
4 жыл бұрын
@@chrislau9776 You did an amazing job creating your machine from scratch! I also wrote my own post processor for my mill. I just have one problem, G93 to auto fill every single line. Mach3 use radius for feed only speeds up A axis but B axis is still slow in DPM
Hi! What kind of glue did you use for gluing up the pink foam? Thanks
Array Z It would be grate to get some build drawing, so the main thing is about the turning head with placed the air cooled spindel. It look like that you use a direct drive unit for the turning head. Which size it is?
What's the name, or the link to buy, of the bearing used for the two rotation axis of the milling head? I not have idea where i can buy it.
You are great
its a beast, awesome .but where did you got the fund for creating this beast

Nice safety shoes!
Great job. What product do you use to seal the foam at the end?
@chrislau9776
5 жыл бұрын
I am using epyoxy to seal a foam and apply a 5-6layer primer painting for polishing surface.
Awesome
would be awsome to know a litte bit more about the wiring, the controller used and where to get the firmware etc. :D

Its like cnc machine 3d juste you change the program that you enter in mach3
Wow, I've never seen a home with a glass-walled room inside the garage labelled 'MACHINING' - that almost looks semi-pro!
