Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль

    Can you not soak this off with acetone? Have to be filed off? If so, can you use the biab bottles to build? X

  • @abetweene

    @abetweene

    3 жыл бұрын

    no, hard gel cant be soaked off. its structuraly different to soak off gels (which are actually softer) and have enough porosity allowing acetone to permiate.

    Please upload a forms tutorial! I don't have a problem with a nail that looks like yours or mine but one of my daughters is a nail biter and the other has wide nails that have a hint of a C-curve at the middle then they just flatten out. With hers I often have gaps. I've tried placing a straight edge in middle of form but that hasn't worked either. I hope that made sense!

    abetweene hey there, just watched it and thought it super helpful for placement purposes. Quick question though, would the bevel on the form edge be there for you to place it slightly above the proximal Nail fold, to achieve a seamless look as close to the cuticle line as possible, or is it meant to be there just for safety purposes?

  • @abetweene

    @abetweene

    6 жыл бұрын

    i cant be certain what their intentions were when designing it, but you definetly never want to get too close to the proximal fold because as you saw the gel oozes from under the form a bit. And you certainly dont need gel up under there, lol.

  • @IndoEireannGirl

    @IndoEireannGirl

    6 жыл бұрын

    abetweene right! That makes sense, I forgot about the gel oozing out I guess, was just thinking on the purpose of including something like that on the form and not explaining it. Oh well, whatever it’s for, you work it very well and sculpt your nails amazing whatever the medium you choose to use! Looking forward to that one with polygels and the dual forms. Take Care!😊🙋🏻💜🦋💅🏼 P. S. Would also love to see more henna prep and application videos. I’ve started to try out making my own paste now, but have had rotten luck with getting the dye to release properly. Not sure if my proportions are off, but anything you could show would be super helpful. Thx!

    So by placing a soak off under the hard gel can the hard gel then be soaked off??

  • @abetweene

    @abetweene

    5 жыл бұрын

    No, the hard gel must still be filed off, but you wont run the risk of filing through your natural nail if you stop once you’ve thinned it down to the soak off layer. Then you can soak just that portion.

    Part of me really wants to learn how to do this... Then another part of me is like... I'll just pay someone 😂 the money I save from DIY waxing I can put into a nail tech. Problem is idek how to find someone who uses this technique or how to even ask for it. 😕 Also, over looked into the products and it looks like a lot of this stuff requires nail tech certification to purchase

    You must file the gel off to remove it... i actually have a rebalance & refill video on my channel, so u can check that how to see how. You dont need to put base coat on top of the extension but you can if youd like.
