DIY Half Cord Firewood Rack - Measure After You Buy
Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль
A lot of wood suppliers have ripped me off in the past, so I built this half cord firewood rack to store and measure the wood I purchase. Beware of common tactics they use such as selling by the "truckload".

3:37 45 cubic feet is about 1/3 of a cord, which is 128 cu ft. Put three of your racks side by side for a cord.
This is a great looking rack. Well done. Should hold a little over 1/3 of a cord full up. You’re supplier shorted you.
I just built this yesterday and got a "truck load" delivered for $130. My rack measures roughly 6' wide and 5' tall. I figured I received about 42 cubic feet or 1/3 cord (face cord) of firewood and filled the entire rack. Thanks for uploading the video!

1/3 Cord would be 4' x 8' x 2' or 64 cubic feet.

@@heavyhittersgaming3759 I believe that is 1/2 cord from my Google search. I believe different areas use different measurements too. 🤷♂️

Just want to correct this for anyone reading the comments. A full cord is 128 cubic feet. Half of that, or a half cord, is 64 cubic feet. 1/3 cord would be 42.6 cubic feet.
Thank You for this educational video!!! 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
You should get one of those Harbor Freight truck bed unloaders.
Thanks ,..tread lightly when you have to travel 50 feet in the snow
