No I stapled throughout but it’s just for extra security it holds well I just wanted it to be connected to the wall.

Yeah it’s pretty heavy duty so add a little more force.

I got two boxes and it was enough for me I didn’t need it any higher so yeah two boxes will do it just depends on the space

You could try command hooks. There are some with small wires that might work better.
