Miss Beverly. There are no words to describe how beautiful and elegant this shade turned out. (you threw shade and I loved it!) It brought tears to my eyes when you were finished. I have an old and ugly lamp shade that i plan to incorporate your ideas into. My shade is huge and I can't find one that big, so you made me think I can do this and make it beautiful! It's awesome as always! You're not the only one who spirit is down. This pandemic is making me upset and scared. I try to keep up with good spirits but when you have 2 teenagers boys who always fighting b/c they can't go anywhere. Let's put it this way, it can become very depressing. Thanks so much for making this lovely DIY for us Beverly! I had seen a peacock lamp that I wanted, but it was very expensive and before I knew it, it was sold out. This DIY is even prettier than that lamp (or those lamps since I would have bought the pair) and at a fraction of the cost! As for this situation,I feel that we have to focus on positivity. I'm doing spring cleaning myself so, I've been busy. I just did my lampshade with glitter looks great I like the feather on bottom .paint the standing metro metallic gold just gave me a better idea wasn't sure what I was going to do put crystal this is better thanks for posting .i just used mode posh blue glitter. So going to use feather on bottom thanks for idea

Yes if you don't want to light peeking through the lampshade. I wanted it to be dark teal without the background light but since it's a DIY you can change up anything in the video to your liking. Thanks for watching :)

I know what you mean Beverly and yes crafting does help take your mind off of things happening. This turned out very nice. You should have used a popsicle stick for glueing down sequins but I'm sure you just weren't thinking of it. I hope that you are holding up well during this crazy time. It feels like a dream. I ask my daughter often "Is this really happening?" Hopefully things will get back to normal soon but I am enjoying spending more time with family. I have other family that I miss but I can't see them until after this things get under control. Really pretty 😍. I've got my great gradbabbies to help me get through. We pray and two have online school to do. The three and half year old does alphablocks on KZread. Their mom graduates from boot camp this week . She then goes on to her culinary trading. Her mom my oldest daughter and I share care of them. You inspire us all, and I'm praying for you and everyone. This is beautiful! Teal is my 2nd fav color. Purple is my first but I don't like to overuse purple so I have a lot of teal throughout my house. Now how to convince my hubby to let me do this to our bedroom lamps, we have similar lamps and our room is aquamarine so it would look fabulous! (evil plot is brewing, jk). Loved this!
