I understand the multitasking with the camera, but put a rubber mat down under the flywheel to avoid the starter ring gear impacting the hard concrete next time... or slip a thong/flipflop under it
Most mechanical workshops couldn't do what you just did in your driveway, often one handed. That's the truly impressive part. Seriously fantastic work mate, keep sharing.

Very thorough job Scott that would give me confidence if I were to attempt it. IOWs- I would be terrified withpout first watching one of Scott's vids

Hey Scott, excellent job mate. I really appreciate how you got every single little seal possible while you're in there; If you take this car to Ferrari, they literally don't touch about half the amount of parts you replaced unless requested or unless there is obvious failure.

I've taken on some complicated jobs on cars and other machines on my own and wouldn't hesitate to do this one if I were 40 or 50 years younger. The sense of accomplishment when you complete a job like this is priceless! No left over bolts or nuts either. Lol
Most of us will never work on a Ferrari but I think we could all have a go now you’ve shown us how

Great video. Thanks for taking the time to film it despite it making the job ten times longer! You didn’t even need to completely remove that gearbox out of the engine bay but you did for the sake of making this video. It’s good to know I’m not the only one who makes life harder for myself just for the sake of filming haha. Enjoying the content. Keep up the enthusiasm 👍🏼

That might be easy for you, but to me that was incredibly impressive! Well done on having the skill, knowledge and confidence to tackle such a job yourself... And you also saved yourself God knows how much by not taking it to a Ferrari mechanic! Top marks, mate :-)
We changed the cam belts on my 308gtb and were pleased with ourselves. You are a legend.
You have some set of balls to tackle such a huge job, in your driveway, in a pair of flip-flops. I don’t think even manscaped could tackle them balls….. they’re huge! Fabulous video. Your knowledge and skill is an absolute credit to you and it was intriguing to watch. Thank you for such detailed and entertaining content.

This was really fantastic. I think the main benefit of videos like this is that they give us confidence to tackle thinks that stop working/ need replacing/ repairing on our cars, whatever the type/ value/ condition of the cars. Doing your homework beforehand, diagnosing the problem, confirming the initial diagnosis, ordering the right parts, having the right tools, and following the instructions seem to be the way to do. Well done, that was really great !

Wow Scott! What an amazingly satisfying video. So cool to see that you are not afraid to take stuff apart yourself and the way you do it thoroughly! I don't own a ferrari, but this is great content!
Love the driveway grind for the repair. Great job!
I admire your courage to do all this by yourself!!!
Loved every minute of this video!! More please!!
i don't even a ferrari, but I gave ur video a thumbs up because anyone that can do a ferrari clutch in their driveway is on another level!
I enjoyed the video! It's good having you back working in your driveway! I enjoy those the most. You're not afraid to tackle any problem. Keep the videos coming.
Great video with superb narration - I've literally done around 50 clutches a year for all of my working life ( but never on a Ferrari ) and have always worn overalls and proper work shoes. You're a brave man wearing flip flops, as even with the most careful working practices, I've dropped a few things on my feet and been glad of the gear I've had on.
Another awesome video Scott! If you can do the clutch on your very lovely Ferrari on the driveway, all driveway mechanics should feel encouraged! Also very much enjoying the BB videos, and envious of the facilities you have to carry the restoration.
You have the best "workbench" using the Ratarossa! Love your content Scott. Keep it coming!

Ferraris are made for people like you. Fear is half the fight to servicing this car. Obviously a very complex job and you’ve done the required research. One aspect many don’t know is what a joy it is to work on a machine with such flawless fit. The precision actually makes every job easier.
I love this so much. I always assumed these were much more complex than they are actually are.
lol... one man band replacing sports car clutch in his drive way wearing slip slops. Goes to show anything is possible. Stealership must be having a hissie fit. I love this...
Wonderful video once again, Scott! Least I’m not the only person that works on my cars in flip flops 🩴 👍🏻
Massively informative video, you brave taking on these jobs, good on you 🤙🏻
This is inspiring. I don't have anything like a ferrari, but I do have an MR2 and no garage and the clutch is going to need changing soon. I know it can be done, but it's daunting, so good to see someone doing it with a much bigger and heavier transmission!
Kudos for doing this video and the clutch...So impressed, I'm not even going to mention your Flip flops..Stuart, and his little doggie were hilarious...🤨😳😳😄😄🇬🇧
Nice one Scott, we missed a gritty episode!! 🙂❤️
Been looking forward to seeing this done

Not only did Scott change a Ferrari clutch on his paved driveway in the English weather but he did most of it one handed. Take that so called "Ferrari Techs".!
WOW, you tear into a Ferrari with more confidence than most guys on a Lawn Mower...
I love how Ratarossa takes the mysticism out of Ferrari maintenance. Aside from the F1 actuator and tests this doesn't look much harder to do than a Miata clutch.
Tks Scott, just snuck in my Superperformance order before the end of the month (to Aus, no less) to take advantage of the free shipping. I've bought from these guys before but the 308 has languished for some months and needs a bit of maintenance so I've loaded up for a couple of future to-do's as well. Had a part query on rear stabiliser bushes which was answered in a flash. Great people to deal with.
Such a great video. Takes a lot of confidence to do all that work.

Great informative video! I am in the middle of doing the same on my scud, and this video has been so helpful. Many thanks and keep up the fantastic work!
I was wary enough doing the clutch on a fwd Rover but damnit, I'd be scared as hell of this.. Good work man. 👍
Open heart surgery has fewer steps....how the hell do you remember where everything goes? And I thought mechanics were overpaid, now I know why they're not!
Wow wasn’t expecting that! It’s looks like a pleasure to work on😉👌👍
Great work, inspiring!
The rear trans may be more accessible, but it’s your knowledge and experience that makes the scope of difficulty so manageable. Ain’t no such thing as an easy ‘driveway’ clutch job on a Ferrari. Terrific video once again. Cheers Scott 👍
I am in admiration of the work you do without a lift. I am spoilt .Well done.
Scott, U R awesome! You totally ROCK 👊🏻
I really miss tinkering on my old 'sh*tbox' cars when I first started out with cars. Great work Scott.
Fantastic job!! Patience is the key and no rush. Well done!
Very well presented as you are very talented using the camera to give us all clear crisp shots. So Glad to see, Ferrari use a solid flywheel rather than one of those 2piece flywheels with a solid clutch plate. I am a bit old fashioned , I love the flex to be in the clutch plate, not the flywheel. Thanks for the post, well done.
