This turned out really cute! So glad that you took the time to comment on the type of bulb, because I was definitely wondering what you were going to do to mitigate the risk of starting a fire. Also, I lost most of my hair because of Lupus, and Becky is what I call my wig stand, because she holds my good hair. Thought some people might find that amusing.

Yeah just a normal chandelier bulb heats up pretty quick, even for my test shots it got hot so I was like “I better mention this” because they make specific LED bulbs that don’t get hot for table lamps so I ordered a pack of those for myself. & Lol Becky yay! I am a big fan of naming objects common human names. I’ve named so many things in my house lol. But yeah I have a few friends named Becca that sometimes get called Becky (much to their chagrin) so I was like better cover my bases with this alliteration 😂

this looks like a fun diy! i'd love to try something like this except maybe having some spiderwebs woven between the metal circle things and go for a more bug insect aesthetic... idk i think that would look cool.

Dude that moon moth is just the best I love weird looking butterflies and moths their soo cool I count the moon moth as weird cause when I was younger I thought the extra part of the wing was ateni lol

Moths are definitely cool creatures! Especially the big colorful variety! Or the big fluffy ones 🥰

One thing that might be nice- instead of doing one of these with an exposed bulb (those give me headaches too), I'd make something that looks like wax paper for the areas that are missing the glass covers to blur out the light.

Thanks for the inspiration on the lamp shade and the correct bulb to use with it...... I have a lampshade I've been wanting to change and now I know what I want to do thanks to you always enjoy your videos ✨✨✨

7:32 Whenever people use the phrase, blithering idiot, I think of the part in Harry Potter, where Mr. Filch is shouting “students out of bed! Students in the corridor!” and making a nuisance of himself, and then professor McGonagle is like “they’re supposed to be out of bed you blithering idiot!”

Turned out very well! You can glue more butterfly/moth on it and rotate it with the seasons. Thinking death's head moth for autumn.

Super cute thrift flip! I'm in the throes of redecorating part of my space and seeing you use that moss is really inspiring me to finish the moss mirror I started... uh... possibly last year >.> Also, my boyfriend is adhd as hell and he'd never mentioned how nuts the pilly sheets drive him, but when actually asked he was like 'omfg you have no idea' so I suspect I'm going to be cracking and saving up for some good new sheets. I've seen several youtubers swearing by Brooklinen so I think they'll be who I go for :)

Omg yes the sheets struggle!! I’ve always been so particular about them since I was a kid. Like another thing is, the top sheet and quilt/duvet have to line up on the side, if one is pulled to the side than the other… hate it. And both have to be tucked in at the foot of the bed not pulled out loose or bunching up. I wonder if it’s the same with him 😆

Yess! If you do just make sure you get a bulb that doesn’t heat up (LED style). Pretty sure moss is flammable but even if I’m wrong it’s good to be safe!

I imagined that I ran into you at pennsic and invited you for craft hour.

That turned out awesome!! The new cave is going to have 0 ceiling lamps in the inside rooms. We will have multiple DIY'd table and floor lamps, and wall sconces. This one is now on the list. 😊

I LOVE the lamp!!! It looks fantasic and is making me want to make one for myself. :) Now I'll be scouring the local thrift stores for lamp shades and bases that'll work. Gonna make me a fancy gobblincore lamp!!

Yesss do it!! You could even make tiny little mushrooms with air dry clay and add those! I almost did that but I have another mushroom diy craft I’m planning for my air dry clay.
